What about swarming outside the home? I got the trench work and the flood of termidor around the perimeter of house, with drilling into the slab and injecting more chemicals. Do I need to worry then? Will that treatment kill the source of the termites if I have them?
I woke up once to hundreds of termites swarming from my bedroom window and founds wings in my bed sheets. My roommate said “oh yeah that happens every year”. He said “well if I tell the landlord he’ll raise the rent”. WTF I refused to pay the rent and moved out. YUCK!
would you recommend a termite contract for subterranean as the cure is not as expensive and an inspection annually would cost nothing however; drywood mitigation is more expensive and perhaps a contract would be good in this case. thank you for getting back to me.
While it is appropriate for pests such as ants, spiders, and roaches, we would not recommend anything with monthly maintenance and service fees for termite control. Once a year inspections and spot-treatments are sufficient to keep a California home in shape as long as there is not a significant amount of deferred maintenance.

Possibly. Termites can infest wooden furniture, but so can other wood-destroying insects such as wood-boring beetles, carpenter ants, etc. I would contact a local professional that can identify the type of wood-destroying insect infesting your wood furniture.
