This video i found so helpful. When i thought i could only do five push ups i pushed past the' pain barrier' and did 15. I have so much more confidence now that i know i can push myself, and not let my mind take over. This is the ONLY video i can find that actually is what i needed. Thank you!
Bullshit. I don't believe you because when that pain kicks in (lactic acid) the most you can do is maybe 3 more not 10. If you can still do 10 more then clearly 5 reps is too easy.
@@imsljr420 you’re a negative ass dude I saw you on another thread where somebody tryna help your dumbass . If you can’t do it that doesn’t mean everyone else can’t . Keep that negativity to yourself man if you don’t have anything postive to say .
Did my first intense workout in ages and I was stuffed by the end of it, arms and leg numb, feeling nauseous and had a headache for about an hour. but I ain't quitting Update: 2nd workout done, same as last one but a bit easier and I feel great Update 3: I've been busy with a lot of stuff, but I'm still working out. I'm focusing on body weight and endurance at the moment. Update 4: some family stuff has been happening lately and renting problems. But I'm back at it.

I mock my friends all the time. But I am aware that my mocking my hurt my friends sometimes. I mock them because I care for them and want to see them be the best versions of themselves.
For me, when i realise i feel like giving up. I think to myself, do 5 more times. Like how kids tell their mom if they can play another round of video game. I really have that habit XD
This video has good insight I would agree with. Not just for fitness but for everything in life. I often try to trust myself and my current actions in the moment. Most of the time it's good not to double think. The mind is useful but sometimes the ego gets in the way with doubts and excuses amongst other things. For me It's better to have a goal or an intention and get right to it without over analyzing it. Faith based action ..Trust is the key..I've become my own mentor with these principles.
The more u push the more u get better at pushing through practicing it and showing up everyday gonna increase ur mental power it is like a muscle more u practice the more better u handle it thats what the navy seals say and crush the negativity if ur mind says i cant do it u say i can do it💪💪💪💪
Your brain is much weaker than your muscles. Your muscles could go harder but your mind fails before them. Start slow. Maybe pick one exercise out of your workout routine and when you feel like youre gonna fail do 1 more rep. Next time you working out do 2 more reps with that pain. Then you can try more and more till you reach the goal. Then try it with another exercise.
Also its important to work on your will in other aspects of your life. To train your brain and mind. It might not seem like it but pushing yourself to for example study more than you usually do or to go to sleep earlier even tho you want to watch netflix or basically doing anything that isnt satisfying to you at that moment. It will help you build emotional resistence and with that comes physical too.
I still struggle with barriers when I go to the gym bc whenever I do so much then the voice in my head becomes so powerful that I stop on the spot That's my biggest disadvantage But I can switch it to something new I always find ways to fight back
Something I did for motivation is before I started working out I tried a certain type of push that’s hard for me then a few weeks in I tried it again and I could do them pretty easy so I know I really am getting stronger even though I can’t see it
Try doing the plank, when your triceps start to burn see how long you can remain in the plank position. Each time you push past that horrible pain you'll get stronger and muscle memory will kick in. Good luck.
First time if i get tire and i stop After 1 year for the first time i past through pain In my mind i keep saying I got told to lay my body down Now here i stand against pain And like that i got mt first time past through And i know that mind is stronger than anything
When I try and workout I go to as far as I can and then my body just shuts down and will not do anymore especially when I do push up is there a way to fix this I have the mindset that I can do it but my body with not move it just collapses?
@@ilyassvids23 I’m just starting to workout and I definitely am experiencing this, but it’s just so hard to push through this feeling. I know it isn’t pain, but idk how to get myself to rly push through it my muscles feel like they’re going to collapse
I like that attitude Mr. Pain is weakness leaving the body...straight to the point no chaser thank you

Make sure yall are experiencing the right time of pain, and not crippling pain from bad form, tears in tendons/muscles, or overtraining
Honestly, I degrade myself with mean and horrible words. Then when I go past my limit, I say “See? That’s what I thought.”
That doesn't sound healthy lol
I feel the burn and I stop and wonder why I don’t get sore. My pain tolerance is low, but I want to make significantly more progress in 6 months.

You want to be a main character pov:
I can't do it. It's too hard for me to push myself pass the burn. Once my muscles are burning I quit and give up because I can't take the pain.
Sameeee I get tired then stop
Try to think differently you can’t think about the pain it’ll be worth it I promise

How do you decipher betwee pushing pass the pain and injuring yourself?
Well be just be sure that you don’t get injured.
Thanks sir
I've always been afraid I'd start snapping tendons if I want to scream and I just force myself to push even though they weight won't move anymore.
I’ll try
