    I have to ask......where is everyone ? Was this filmed on a weekday, when many were inside at work, etc? Is there a "residential area", as such with single family homes, etc. that make up
    "neighborhoods" ? Excellent film....thank you for your help. ? Antoine

    • @perpedestravel9809
      @perpedestravel9809  3 года назад

      Yes, it was filmed on a weekday, and there are probably also less people around because of the pandemic… Many thanks for watching!

      I have lived in Luxembourg for 40 years and I have never seen it as quiet as in this film. Normally everyone is stuck in traffic queues or waiting for the bus that doesnt arrive. This is like a Luxembourg from another dimension. Even during the height of the lockdown during the pandemic there were more people n the streets than this. Seeing this makes me want to live there , if I didnt already live there.

      @@unclekevin5094 Thank you for your input. :). I am seriously considering moving there in the early Spring. Would you please help me with another matter ?
      What are the flight routes to get there from the U.S., say from Chicago, New York or Miami ? Should someone fly to France or Germany and then take the rail ? Is there an International Airport in Luxembourg City ?
      Thank you again for your help. :)
      Antoine

    • @unclekevin5094
      @unclekevin5094 3 года назад

      @@globalonemusic2381 Luxembourg is very easy to get to from all over Europe although the times I have flown to America (Houston Texas) I have flown from Luxembourg to London Gatwick and then from there directly. There is an international airport here that certainly flies to New York. If not the big airports of Frankfort and Paris are only 2 or 3 hours away by car or train.

    • @globalonemusic2381
      @globalonemusic2381 3 года назад

      @@unclekevin5094 Personally, under current global social and political conditions, I would NEVER enter the State of New York and I would never fly out of NYC. As far as you know, Is it normally Air France or Lufthansa that would probably fly directly to Luxembourg ?
      If you have a sense of humour, my choices of where to move have come down to Uppsala, South Eastern France, near Monaco or Luxembourg. Each offering VERY different weather throughout the year, but each offering an equal access to a much slower pace of life, a higher quality of life, better standard of living and a better educated population that is much more kind to each and to new people. :)
      I appreciate your help with my questions about flight travel. :)

      In the last few years there have been more and more. They are professional beggars who come into Luxembourg during the week and then go home for the weekend. They are outside most of the big shops and supermarkets and there is even one guy who will take your trolley back if he can keep the one euro in it. Luxembourg is a wealthy country and they are getting their cut.

      They don`t have to be in streets, if they are genuine beggars at all.
      They have houses with soup-kitchens, and places to sleep and facilities to spend their day.
      Most of them prefer to spend their day in the streets, under the bridges and in underground parkways.
