hi i was wondering how i would clean the fan that is in that top left box, it’s really dusty and there’s little to no air flow. when you open the side of the case
My preferred way is to blow it out using compress air (using an air compressor)
At 4:05 the USB3.0 header can be populated with a 2-port extension added to the unused slot at the bottom of the chassis.
At 4:15 the M.2 SATA3 port can be populated with a Samsung 860EVO 250GB SATA M.2.

@@KiteAndKeyProductions No. The connector is keyed for m.2 SATA only. It is an m.2 2280, not an m-sata.

hi, Ricks, I just bought a MSI GX730 Video Card, and plug in the slot, it can start to Windows, but Freeze(Crashing) within 2 mins, restart and still. Do you know this issue?
Do you mean a msi gt730 ?
It shouldn't cause issues like that

Why wouldn't you upgrade the CPU if you're upgrading the GPU? I added a 500W PSU and a Nvidia 1080ti, was thinking of upgrading the CPU to an i7 7700, is this not a good idea?
cause im i5 7400, is still ok, for a gaming focused machine, its always better to go a more expensive gpu than CPU

i believe it is a proprietary bioard, check the front panel header on the board

Hi Rick, so i have an acer aspire tc-780. I'm thinking of upgrading to a bigger case, along with buying a gtx 1650 super. I'm going to switch to the Corsair Carbide SPEC-04 Black/Red Mid-Tower Gaming Case CC-9011107-WW. Do you know if switching cases will be a challenge? Sorry for the inconvenient question, I'm pretty new to pc stuff. Thanks!!
i would recommend checking to see if the CPU cooler screws in to a metal brace or if it screws in to the back of the case.
if it screws in to the case, you might have to factor in another CPU cooler
The PSU looks to be a standard ATX PSU, will also need to check out the front connectors (power button, led lights, reset button) to see if they are a standard fitting
Also the 1650 Super should fit in the case

I have same machine with processor AMD A10-7800 Radeon R7 12 compute cores 4c+8G, if i want to upgrade the processor which one is the best processor under AMD.
With an A10 chip in there, and being an Acer system it will probably have a funky cpu support

i have this exact computer but im swapping the gtx 1050 for the 1650 super, are you sure it wont cause any trouble keeping the old PSU? was considering buying a cheap one like ATX Seasonic B12 BC Series 650W 80 Plus Bronze

I was wondering if i should upgrade to a kingston 8gb 2400 ram or to a crucial 4gb 2400 to my tc-780 which came with a adata 4gb 2400 but i am unable to find any adata ram in where i live and can’t order online.
My configurations are;
Intel Core i5 7400
Nvidia Gt 1030
1TB HDD
4GB DDR4 Memory
either of those brands will be fine
i would probably go 2x8GB
and purchase 1x8GB now and another 1x8GB down the line

Yes you can, just be cautious of what wattage the new card is as you might need to upgrade your PSU

An Micro ATX Case or bigger should be fine.
you may need to make a modification for the wifi antenna and maybe the front panel headers

Whatever is cheaper, the k series is for over clocking, which this mainboard doesn't support

If budget allows you I would aim for
250gb or 500gb 2.5 SSD
(Reinstall windows on to it)
Wipe the 2TB and use that as a storage drive
Upgrade 2x8gb ddr4 2666/3200
So 16gb in total
I would aim to upgrade to a RX6600 or a RTX 3050 8GB
Unless you are getting the 1050 for dirt cheap, I would avoid them

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz , 12 GB RAM , SSD SAMSUNG EVO 850 500GB ( OS su PARTIZIONE 250GB) HD TOSHIBA DA 1TB (DATI) , NVIDIA GEORCE GT 730 2GB. Non pretendo tanto ultimamente sto giocando con qualche gioco eurotrack simulator 2 , Assetto Corsa e va abbastanza bene che scheda video potrei magari mettere per giocare con altro?

Ideally I would like to upgrade to below without mucking up anything

32GB Ram

Since it is a stock pc from Aspire, I understand there are limitations but any help with links to suitable components dor above would be highly appreciated.

If you are upgrading for gaming and on a budget with current prices
I would add 1x8gb ddr4 (to hopefully get you to 16gb dual channel
Ssd wise, a 1tb would be good
GPU wise.. prices are terrible
I would try and get a RX570 4gb for now
Will be a huge improvement over the Gt720

And correction - I already have 16GB RAM (2x8GB) - I am thinking to upgrade to 32GB because that's what the recommended RAM is for editing 4K content on Adobe Premier.
And for GPU, recommended is 6GB. But if 6GB will be ridiculous than I will go with 4GB.
Regarding SSD, can I simply unplug the current SSD and plug in the new one? or does my mother have a free slot to install additional SSD which is what I would prefer actually to avoid any windows reinstallation and BIOS issues unless there is a way to copy current SSD onto new SSD.
can you suggest a links or specific model/make - Would be of great help because I am overwhelmed with what will support and what won't :(
