Thanks for the video. Went out today and hit a pole jam a bit bigger than this one. It was double sided as well (like a triangle) so was pretty intimidating. Just had to go for it!
I got myself a little pole jam a while ago but I was surprised at how much I struggled with it. These tips are super helpful and I’ll be getting back to it now! Cheers from Canada!
Cheers for the vid.! Been wanting to try this trick at the Sydney sk8 park.. ( never done one ) but the pole seems pretty steep plus longer 😬 do you need to worry about weight distribution & or letting the board/ knees come up to your body/ absorb the impact at all..? 🤔
The Sydney park pole jam should be a good one to learn on because you're coming out of the bank so the angle of the pole jam isn't as sharp 👌🏼 Most of your weight should be on your back foot at first but then as you reach the top you just level out your board and legs the same way you would at the top of an ollie or when airing out of a quarter pipe. Hopefully that helps man 🙏🏽
What do you guys want to see me cover next?
How about some tips and spots to skate while it's raining😅
Any good indoor parks in and around Sydney?

Yeah dude, those ones are pretty intimidating since it makes you feel like you need to gap out and clear it lol
Did you end up getting it?
