Today we're at the MASSIVE new skatepark that just opened up at Umina in Sydney's Central Coast, and this place looks SO damn fun!
The Skatepark is part of the upgrade to this entire precinct area here which cost a total of $10,000,000!!!

Today we're skating these brand new limited edition 'Curb Killer' trucks by Slappy Trucks These are 10" wide solid trucks, they're 53.9mm high and they have an inverted kingpin. I believe the stack of farthest out axel to closest in is: 1. Venture 2. Thunder 3. Indy 4. Ace This is why you'll see people with 14" inch wheel base boards go for venture sometimes, to add more stability to a shorter board. And Ace trucks on 14.5-15" wheel base boards for a sharper turn.
That sounds about right!
Makes sense considering Aces and Indy’s are usually considered the turny trucks and Thunder and Venture are usually more stable
I'm jealous at how many skateparks in your area are being built with slappy curbs man. I wish they did that here in my area.

The SB Ishods are great, very comfy and durable. The toe still hasn’t torn on my switch shoe, as I do switch and nollie a lot more than regular or fakie.
Grew up at the old skate park but haven’t seen the new one yet inspired me to go check it out tomorrow been a couple years since being on the board but ima give it a crack 💯💯

Yep the old park was dead. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. This new setup is amazing! Wish we had something like this when I was young. The $10m price tag was for the whole precinct (skate, basketball, bmx track, oval and tennis upgrades etc). Great videos keep up the good work dude!
@@LeonPaxton the coast just keeps getting busier and busier. Night sessions seem to be the go if you wanna get a proper ride. Lights off by 9 though I think.

I actually learnt back 50's before front 50's when I was younger so that's probably why lol I can definitely do a video on them though because a lot of people have trouble with them 👌🏼

Dulwich Hill. the more modern part is an early 2000s build i think and a bit funky, has an original snake run too.
That looks so fun! That feeble on the curve was soo sick. That looks terrifying to skate. I really love when parks make "beginner" sections. They're perfect for warming up and honestly most days it's more fun to just kind dink around on little stuff. I wish more parks would include features like that. Thanks for another great video

@@LeonPaxton these Texas curbs are hard. They are quite rounded. I just can’t get ontop of the curb. I get a grind sound sometimes but it’s just my toes digging in and heels up slightly. Feels like I’m slashing not getting onto of it. Hard to explain. Trying to not use the tail and put my feet in the pockets or on bolts. I just don’t end up grinding how I like. But will keep trying.

I just got the 54mmx39mm dragon nano rats 93 duro. Went for a little push with the little fella and wow, what a ride compared to my grimple stix lock in fulls 54mm 99 duro f4’s. Not sure what the difference is in the dragons and dragon nano rats might be, but what a rideeeeeeeee. Spitfires are on a 8.125” darkstar Lutzka pro model with 1/4” risers on thunder titanium’s, bones Swiss bearings. The dragon nano rats are on an Andy anderson heron 2 deck I believe with the mirror flipped image on the bottom, with the 8.7” in the middle paired with ace hallow hardware, ace af1 DEEDZ hollows 55’s with the bones Swiss and the dragon nano rats
