WLTOYS 144001 Brushless Conversion | Was it worth it?

So since doing the Brushless conversion on the WLTOYS 144001 i have received good and bad feedback along with some very mixed opinions.
Was it actually worth doing the conversion?
A few people have stated i have taken away the value/budget aspect to the buggy and if i knew i was going to spend money on doing this conversion pretty much straight away i should have just just bought a RTR car such as the LC Racing EMB-1 or Equivalent.
Fair point and i take that on board i have to be honest i enjoy the conversion process, tuning and upgrading my RC's and making them my own. I do like RTR's but i see more fun in making an RC personal to me and also entertaining for my subscribers to watch on the channel.
How much did it cost in total?
So guys in this video you will see i have done a price breakdown of the parts along with the total cost which was £144.95 not including the 3s 2200mah Lipo.
The cost of a LC racing EMB-1 in RTR form is £174.95
So is it worth paying that little bit extra for the more premium machine which is higher quality, less fuss to begin with taking things apart to put them right such as diffs, shocks, steering components etc.
The WLTOYS 144001 is a great budget machine at a great price which is ideal to someone looking to get into the hobby with a hobby grade RC for a small amount of money but its not without its faults.
I guess it comes down to personal preference if your long term goal is to go brushless then it may be the better option.
If you are still looking for the best budget RC to buy in 2020 and maybe even leave it in stock form you really can't go wrong with the 144001
let me know your thoughts and impressions guys as i think this is something we need to discuss and hopefully put it to bed.
All comes down to personal choice / preference.
