Greg, love your content! I too purchased the Simmons SD600 and EZ Drummer 2 and have the same issue with NOT having the cross-stick working on the snare? Also, when HH pedal is 1/2 open, it triggers the ride cymbal for some reason? ***How did you go about remapping the rimshot to a side stick? I really don't want to spend another $300-$400 for superior drummer 3 just to get the simmons triggers to work correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I'm here for that exact issue, when you got full velocity in that position it will trigger the low tom too. I'm about to sell my damn drum kit cus it's useless cus of this. I got the sd1200 expanded. I'm about to get sd3, so dumb. I don't need all this shit haha. Just addictive drums 2 died out and lacks that response ezdrummer 2 gives when it works right.
What are your recommended settings for the hi-hat and pedal?. I can't seem to get the right sound. And also I've been trying to get that sound from the snare hitting the rim. Thanks in advance
my hit hat seem right, I just make sure its tight on the stand to avoid cross triggering
@@gregkocis gotcha, it was loose when I assembled them. What about the second trigger for the snare?
Sounds good. One question. I bought the new Simmons Titan 50. I notice that when playing EZdrummer 2 it is hard to achieve high velocities ( hard hits ) on the toms and snare (specially the toms ) Have you noticed this with your Simmons SD600 ? Did you have to change the sensitivity on the module ?

How do i set this up? I have a simmoms sd 600. Do i need to buy ez drummer? How do i install my kit to pick up on it? Sorry no nothing bout program's
just plug in the usb to your computer dowload ez drummer or buy it ofc and then pretty much set
How is pad/ cymbal pad compatibility with the module? Like, if I wanted a bigger ride cymbal and floor toms, would it be an easy just buying bigger pads from roland or alesis or will there be issues?
I'm not sure, there are so many different configurations and brands so it's hard to say.

So the usb port works the same as midi input? I didnt see a midi port on this kit and im very interested in buying for recording some demos . Would i still be able to edit each drum track separately?

yes it will work with a double pedal
So my drums work fine when I play them through speakers but when I plug them into logic the hi hat makes a snare sound when its just barely open, but it makes the appropriate sound when it is fully open. I tried tightening it but it still has the issue, is there a way to fix this?
CalebPowers just bought my set and it’s doing the same. Cymbals wanna cut out while I’m playing too. Really aggravating
You have to remap it in Logic.
Can you connect the edrums to your pc using the bluetooth connection?
I have the SD600 and Native Instruments Komplete 12 Ultimate which is packed with great sounding kits. But getting the to to work together is problematic. My hi hat pedal seems non functioning, bleed thru, assigning specific sounds to different pads, working with cymbals and volume levels were challenges that made me give up after a bit. But I need to work it all out. Any tips from anyone here?

So, this kit's Ride cymbal doesn't have a separate Bell trigger?! That would be a deal breaker for me...
There is no bell trigger. It’s just a single zone pad
Yeah keep in mind it's a $500 kit so far this is the best $500 kid I see as far as sounds feel goal

Yeah I hook it up to my computer laptop has Windows I can't use a iOS and I get high latency do you know of a way I can lower the buffer
Check in your DAW to lower the buffer

I believe you can. I haven't tried it yet, I just used the Bluetooth with my phone
