Where then an axe is swung at his face. Leon then points a gun at him and rather than the man, you know, set the axe down or anything, continues to advance. Oh, and you kinda forgot to mention that part where the guy’s friends run the police officer’s car off the road, kill them, and then take their bodies. Leon literally would’ve just left had him not been forced to defend himself. Sure, he walked into a stranger’s home, but he didn’t threaten, he just asked a single question, presented a picture, and that’s it.

I still love the fact they put one whole Regenerator in a prison cell (1:31:18), but also gave you a door to progress the game without any treachery behind it. And the Regenerator isn't even an issue if you're both left eye blind and deaf.

You can do a similar glitch in the Farm area with the cows and chickens. When you hop over the fence while hugging the wall there's a good chance you will clip through it. Walking around this clipped area you can find a pile of ammo and medicine.
I‘d assume that TAS tools will get someday so advanced that we‘ll get a steam TAS since a few major glitches only work on 60FPS versions. Oh yeah, plus the 8mins time-save on loading-screens.
Whats the deal with the camera angle when you control Ashley? And her immortality? Was the camera angle a Japanese release thing or am I remembering the game wrong?
Probably normal. You can see how it explains about wasting ammo in the gondola part to make the boss die with one less incendiary grenade, or deliberately miss shots in some parts to make the game a bit easier. You cannot do this in professional difficulty. Regardless, this is a good TAS.

This is on normal Turning on captions reveals the TAS misses shots and takes damage to “lower the difficulty” in certain sections, which is only effective on normal due to its adaptive difficulty “Professional” is just normal mode with the adaptive difficulty always locked to the highest setting. That’s why IRL runners run it, it’s more consistent, but if you wanna manipulate RNG normal is faster
