@@mayconlcruz is it really though? a lot of plat times are much faster than gold times. and as the main comment said, you can still get plats ignoring boxes at times.
@@DarkFrozenDepths If we consdered the gameplay the game intended to us to do, yes. But remember: TAS considers the REAL LIFE TIME as standard, not the in-game one. Crash Bandcoot's Time Trials have this mechanic that allow us to artificially freeze the stopwatch, mixing both speedrun and platformer techniques to get "faster" in-game times. However, this run is about finishing the game at 105% fast as possible in real time. Some maneuvers requires you to stop and break crates to freeze the stopwatch, spending real time to breaking it. I never noticed that the jet ski levels go faster at certain angles, watching this video it's totally obvious because you can hear the pitch of the engine change. No wonder I could never get those damn platinums.
There's a glitch which lets you load the times from a different level. I'm not sure how exactly it's done, but it involves interrupting the warp animation to keep control of Crash for a couple of seconds before the level loads. If you loaded the times for a longer level, that'd make it easier. Here they did the opposite, making the platinum relic impossible (though platinums don't actually count for anything so it doesn't matter).
I know that, I used to speedrun this game in my childhood, I joked about the fact that the TAS didn't even need them and it's the last item you get lol

Looks like somebody doesn't know what TAS means. TAS stands for Tool-Assisted Speedrun. While a regular Speedrun aims to achieve a HUMANLY POSSIBLE fastest time, a TAS aims for the fastest possible time. This is done via the use of software and scripts, allowing shenanigans like inputs every frame, frame perfect setups with 100% success, RNG and Timer manipulation, etc. etc. Essentially, it allows you to play the game as perfectly as possible to achieve the fastest time possible. If it looks and feels inhuman, then congratulations, the TAS did its job.
What do you mean what? All you're doing is linking to the bios bootup of the PS1. TASes on PS1 from July 2015 onwards has had the bios screen since then except for the 3 that was done on psxjin. And there have been 50 (49 if you ignore the movie published after this one, Crash 2) PS1 TASes that has it. So. What do you mean what? You just want to talk about a bios bootup that has been available on a lot of PS1 TASes for almost 3 years now.
it makes me so nervous when the boxes break offscreen.

It has been a good year for Crash 3 TASing. Five different ones, and I'm glad this is the one we call it for the year.
Merry Christmas.
Enjoy.
Thanks for publishing this!
Yesyesyesyesyes! Thank you so much! I've been requesting this almost as long as I've been requesting Crash 2 100%! Merry CrashMas!
Thanks
Damnn, Crash is fast with the mask! Nice to see that you actually want to get it this time unlike in crash 2.
Hola, buenas noches, ya quería ver este gameplay del Crash bandicoot 3..muchísimas gracias por el aporte...saludos desde Lima - Perú..
It's not actual gameplay
One of my favorite tas runs of all time
The flex of these TAS to ignore time creates and still get the platinum relics. Lol
or getting all the boxes along with the plat
Or better yet, ditch platinum relics completely and getting the golden one, because is faster on the overall time.

I've barely got platinum on the PAL version. Hot Coco is definetely the hardest level on PAL.

You only need gold relics for 105%, right? Because sometimes it looks like you grab an extra timer crate just to clutch out a slightly better platinum
Yes, you only need all the gold relics for 105%

Really cool run, great work. I have a question though, don't platinum relics count towards your total percentage?
ChaosPotato Nope, only gold, I think. It could also even just be silver. I know I got only golds on the remake and got the platinum trophy.

It's a reference to Chris Ray Gun, whenever something doesn't make sense the PS1 boot theme comes on.
You are a genius or a cheater
It's a T.A.S (tool assisted speedrun), so it isn't a real speed run, just one that shows off what a perfect run would look like.
