The meteor shower at night in Eryth Sea is just pure eye candy. The game considers it a "weather condition", which is random so most nights it doesn't happen.
Eryth Sea is one of my favourite areas in the game. The music, the look, just mesmerizing. And yes, after the grandios opening and shocking beginning of the story, it starts to shift into the next gear. The world building with the Nopons and the High Entia is so well done, after the "simple" revenge plot we now get introduced to politics and the history of the Bionis. I just can say it again and again, your enjoyment and excitement to uncover this story gives me opportunity to witness it all again, though I played the game already three times myself. Can't wait to see how react to next parts of this great adventure. PS one comment already told you about the colors of the Arts in the chain attack, but I have one additional tip: The grey Art in the middle acts like a joker. So for instance if you have used all red arts on one character, but the grey art is active, you can use this grey art to continue the damage multiplier and the best thing is you can switch color after that if needed. So lets say you used three red arts, then one grey, and then you can use yellow arts afterwards and it still counts as one big combo. BUT (!!) you unlock the extra rounds in the chain attack by leveling up your affinity between all the characters (and then they are still based on luck and other factors, like when your characters icons are "on fire" in battle). So it is kind of important to stick to one party formation for a while, because affinity is built by fighting and completing quests together. Affinity is also the factor to unlock those "heart to heart" cutscenes.
The eryth sea seems huge and you can swin from one point to the other. It could take an hour though xD, but there are some secret areas if you try exploring it at foot. Some of them spawna rare collectibles from time to time. The adventure truly starts focusing now, I am excited :D

A little bit of advise from me to you. If you are having money problems, there is a easy way to get some. Defeat the floating clouds around makna forest, eryth sea. They drop an item called ELEMENTAL CHUNK, it sells for alot and has no value(to you; unless your trading), AND 1 of Rikki's skills that he can learn is you get more money via selling. Keep you eyes open for em.
