Marksman1945 I also refused to watch this movie. I saw a train wreck a mile away and there wasn't enough nostalgia to make me wanna see how bad it was.
I still can't get over how much the endings were alike. Had Splinter saved the day on the roof, I might've lost it. At least this time Raphael wasn't the one captured. I like the movie because it's hard to get any TMNT movies, but could we please get a f@@$ing good one? Hell, I would accept just stealing the script from The Dark Knight Rises. The Foot Clan was almost non-existent, and WHAT SORT OF OUTFIT WAS THAT FOR SHREDDER?
Michael Buckelew Shredder's outfit was one of the reasons I didn't want to see this movie. That and how god awful the turtles looked. But seriously, Shredder's outfit isn't supposed to be a mechanical mess. What kind of ninja needs a giant, loud, shiny suit of mech armor with retractable blades at least a foot l...ha! Foot long blades for the Foot Clan leader! But seriously, no wonder he lost wearing that. His vision and hearing were surely distorted. It had to be slowing him down as well. Is the concept of Shredder just being very, very skilled to "lame" for Bay? Does he NEED mech armor?

and hes only good at stuffing 100x the necessary explosions into a standard length film when just the normal amount of explosions will work just fine...the 1998 american-made Godzilla film is considered an abomination, but eh, it had more merit than anything Michael Bay has done in the last 10 years :P

You should have also included the part where april was trying to prove the existence of the turtles, what always bothered me about the scene is that instead of showing the boss lady the photo of the turtles she took with her 2nd phone she instead decided to show her a picture of regular baby turtles, also at the train scene THERE WERE SEVERAL EYE WITNESSES, why the hell didn't she ask ANY of those people to help her with her credibility? overall liked the movie but that scene was TERRIBLY thought out.

Not quite as big in scope, but there's a comic/graphic novel called Marvels written by Kurt Busiek. It's basically the point of view of a newspaper reporter in the Manhattan where the Marvel characters exist, and what life was like to live there with all it going on. Good read; the author timed the events all based on when the comics with the original storylines came out.

I liked the look of the turtles. always blows me away how different peoples test can be. Not only did I like the look but I also like how each turtle had articles of clothing on them that describes their personality. Even if the purple turtles was a bit overboard , it was still cool. I find the other designs cheesy
