Todd and Justin you guys are great but my favorite bow ever right now is the Hoyt Ventum. Considering Im a fan of bows period though Matthews makes an awesome bow! Im a fan of anyone who gets out there and challenges themselves to kill game with a bow and stays humble.
Absolutely my most favorite bow ever. Will probably be my last bow. Just love it.
I always say this and then 4 or 5 years later I say it again. Lol. But yes these bows are awesome!

bowstring wax is great for threads as well if you don't have or like Loctite

You do know you can remove the axles and cams without taking the bow out of the press? I never take mine out when changing strings and yokes.
There's a lot of things you can do - even if you shouldn't. :) Every bow manufacturer I've ever talked to recommends decompressing the limbs when removing axles.
Did the sight come with it? I built my bow on the website and I didn't find it. This is my first time ordering a bow.

you should paperclip the old set of strings.
What size peep and housing did you go with on your tetra ? Great setup.
I use a 3/16 with my fixed tetra without dovetail.
Lines up perfectly.
Couldn’t you take then cams off when the bow is pressed??? it would be easier

Thanks for the video. Did you put the Monkey Tails on your new ABB string or leave it as is?
I never find a need for monkey tails or other string dampeners. Today's bows are plenty quiet and vibration-free without them.
It's too short of a loop though you will put torque into your string
Has a Bowshop... 1 set of d- loop pliers.. hahaha
We don't actually have a bow shop. Just the workbench area in the garage of our office.

Excellent walk through and nice set up but I do have one question. I see the weights on all Matthews bow strings, what's the point of them? I had my new set up done without them.
Adding weight to the string actually helps increase speed. Most aftermarket string manufacturers will put those speed buttons on in the same place and weight as the OEM strings.

It's the OMP Versa-Cradle 360.
How many pound draw are you going to run
I typically deer hunt at 67-68 lbs with an arrow setup somewhere between 450 and 500 grains.

That’s the ugliest grip that Mathews put on they started to make Their product cheap now they cutting cost but people like ugly
Ugly? Didn't know that the grip on a bow could be "ugly" 😂 Like it or not, it's pretty comfortable.
