    I own this, and have owned the Solution. I've tested the other bows you have tested here on your channel (ventum 33, etc) and some other flagship models as well. The Solution and V331 IMO were the very best of the big boys for 2021. Performance (speed) is roughly the same. It's going to come down to "feel" factors- grip, mass weight, how it holds for the individual archer. Both cycle great, both are very quiet. I might give the Solution the draw cycle edge (in comfort), and give the V331 the edge in noise and lack of recoil/vibe. You cannot go wrong with either bow. Thanks for your vids. Keep 'em coming.

    I’ve had mine since mid January. I love this bow. You mentioned about grouping. At the 3d shoot I went to on 4-17 I put 3 arrows inside a 50 cent piece size ring at 50 yards. I used gold tip hunter xt 340 arrows 100 grain tip and aae max stealth 4 fletch right helical vanes. I can’t say enough good things about this bow. It’s just a awesome piece

    I will say, my wife and I own one of these each. Mine set at 60, and is smooth as you described. No hump.
    My wife's is dialed back to 50 from 60 mods, and there is a hump at that poundage. It's the darndest thing. Amazing bows though.

    V3 31 was my favorite Mathews by far.
    However I can’t leave well enuf alone.
    V3X 29 ordered today.
    In the new granite color.
    The V3 31 will soon be my back up.

    I order d a V3 31 two months ago, paid in full, then bills came up, I only have money for one flagship bow and my budget is shot for accessories. I can put my old bows accessories, that are from 2005, biscuit and some trophy ridge sight. I don’t know if I should try to keep the V3 order or wait until the winter for a new Mathews model, when I should have the money for an entire setup, trinity rest and black gold sight.

    Can u test all bows using the same rest and let offs so we can compare the relative speeds of each bow brand. Ive noticed some bows are equipped with Whisker Biscuits but this Mathews is shot with a Hamsky. You should show actual DW,DL n let off of each bow u test using the same rest.

    Just a question, you have a longer draw length like me, and wondering your thoughts on string angle? I have issues touching my nose to the string on my v3 and was wondering if you thought that was an issue for accuracy? Thanks for your input.

    Hey josh, I just watched your video with Dan on peep sizes.... and now I’m and SOOOOOO conflicted now.... I have a 27.75 “ draw and I run a 1/8 raptor peep.... I had a 13/16 peep in my prime bow with my IQ sight, but when I went to my MBG pro with a x-frame mount (set to the middle hole) I had to go down because my groups where WAY to open because I could never center my peep... I had WAY to much light around my housing.... I even have a 1/8 raptor in my new 31”V3 with the fast Eddie sight with a dove tail mounted no further then my MBG on my prime bow......what could be the reason that I need such a smaller peep? I anchor in the corner of my mouth and nose.... I even run a long d-loop which should move my head further away from the peep and make me need a larger peep.

    • @kaelangerhardt5651
      @kaelangerhardt5651 3 года назад +2

    • @mustang268
      @mustang268 3 года назад +2

      If you gave a 30 inch draw I would go a half inch shorter in mods mathews run about a half inch long I needed a 29 inch mod to get to my 29.5 inch draw came in a little under 29.5

    I just didn't like the way the v3 felt in my hand. I had a choice between it and a VXR31.5 or 28 and the VXR 31.5 just felt so much nicer on the backwall for me. I also felt like that v3 was heavy as heck compared to the VXR even though the weight difference is not that much. But that is how it felt for me. I am also extremely new to archery. I upgraded from a Hoyt Powermax.
