- Welcome to our Mathews Archery V3 31 Bow Review
In this review, Dalton covers the full details of the new Mathews V3 31 as well as some insight into design, cam technology and more from an archers and bowhunters perspective. Dalton then takes the V3 31 to the range for the draw cycle and shot testing. Simply one of the best bow reviews on RUclips....period! Thanks
Have viewed all the other channels reviews on the V3 and yours is by far the most in-depth and helpful for someone trying to decide on a new Mathews. Was wavering between the Hoyt Ventum 33 (don’t like their cam module for 29.5 inches this year is lowest setting on largest module) and the V3 (was concerned w/ their draw cycle and 6 inch brace height for cold weather hunting). But I think you’ve sold me on the V3, just wished I lived closer (Iowa) to your shop to do business with ya’ll. Thanks for a great review as usual.
I know it's kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch new series online ?
Brilliant bow review as always Dalton 👍
Very thorough review. Enjoyed your insights.
Thanks for watching Jeff!!
Great video. Loved how in depth it was. Great job
Thank you for watching!!
Someone just suggested the V3 31 to me, so here I am watching your video and I’m glad I did. Looks like an amazing piece
This is awesome content, really helpful. Thank you!
This is a good review. Subscribed.
Great video! Loads of info. Unbiased too which was great.
Thanks for watching!!
10 minutes ago I was dead set on my 27 that I have on order. Now I'm thinking after watching this review and your 27 review literally side by side that I'm probably going to be more comfortable with the 31. Good thing the shop has them both shipping next month!
Great vid! I’ve never heard of LaPanto, but I’m coming to find your location! I already have my V3, which I love, but my longtime store owner is selling out..I’m willing to travel for the right setup guy
We look forward to it! We appreciate you watching!
Those Cams look serious !
Dalton
Great Review
Just curious I haven’t watched the channel in awhile but used to come here for PSE reviews. I have an PSE Evoke 31 and a Mathew’s VXR. Why not do the PSE content anymore I really enjoy there bows and your reviews were top notch
We're glad you're following along! Unfortunately we had some differences with PSE and they no longer were selling in store so we had went seperate ways.
@@BetterOutdoorsarchery copy that thanks for the update
👍🏻
What stabilizer is that on the 31
great video i have a v3 31 and i am getting vane contact on the center cable guard wheel with my blazer 3 fletch and my local pro shop cant correct it there solution was to tell me to just turn the knock a little have you seen this issue and if you have did you find a fix ? thank you
I would either angle the cock vane to 1 o clock like we had to on some previous Mathews or change vanes. We prefer the AAE Hybrid 26 in a 4 fletch. No clearance issues on any bow with a hunting arrow and quieter in flight than a Blazer vane 👍
Any guess on what the speed would be with 27" draw length at 60lbs draw weight and that 410gr arrow?
Take 20fps off the 27in/70lb numbers to get really close to what 60lbs would be 👍
Can you guys do an atlas review please.
thanks for the review. Whats your thoughts on the 27 inch for someone with a 27 inch draw?
Thanks for watching! Go over to our V3 27 review as we address that just about exactly 👍
Where is the altas build?
Atlas review coming up?
It is on the list when we have them back in stock!
@Devin Halm I can tell you the exact numbers. I HAD the 60 pound mods at 30.5" draw length. The 461 grain arrow out of my bow was moving at 281fps. Hope this helps. BTW I since moved to the 65 lbs mods, and my 500 grain arrow is now mowing at a swift 275 fps. Have fun!
hey if i wanted to order this bow from you, could you ship it to another authorized dealer near me?
That is a good question! Send me a PM
