I been looking at the 325/60/20 nitros for the actual size being 35” or 35-1/2” but now that you pointed out all the other benefits I’m definitely going with them on my 2” leveled 24 F-250
Great video and awesome truck! Hope you get some PPF and ceramic on that beautiful paint 😉 So I guess I would need to level my ‘21 Limited 2500 in order to fit a 325 WildPeak?
So you sold the 2019 mega cam, bought a 1500 and then went back to a 2021 mega cab? I have always loved the mega cabs!! Are you going to do any of the upgrades you did to the previous?
So far tires, 2.5 Icon, curt gooseneck hitch, Bakflip MX4, banks pedal monster, aev tire and Tpms module. Still to be added this week airlifter 5000 plus with gen 2 compressor, Carli Radius arms.
How are the seats holding up on your 2021 3/4 ton? I know in my 2019 the seat leather stretched out an bubbled up. My 2020 Laramie has done the same thing. I heard the 2021 limited seats are better and more comfortable.
That is very good point on the weight, at acceleration. Stopping though the heavier helps. Rolling Resistance means just that, already resisting to roll because of more heat and friction is ready to slow on its own. Adding break force is less needed technically because as soon as you let off the accelerator, they are trying to slow themselves down. Right? Yep. That psi thing is just missing something too. The truck says only the rear is supposed to be 80psi (all numbers at Cold PSI). Therefore the dash light will be on at some point under 80. But even better truth of that is that the TPMS gives room down to 65-68 before it actually alarms. And soooo, the 65 psi tire, and that again is Cold Psi, when you begin to drive and the temperature rises for friction on the road it will go into No Alarm mode. Then only if you are Towing and bothered, very low likelyhood but possible, by Highway Patrol and they know their stuff, could fault you for not having the rears at 80psi cold temp.
So on the 325/60r20s how much did you rub? Also, did you run these on stock suspension or only with the leveling kit? I saw the rubbing on the control arms but wasn’t sure if this came from the 35” tires. Thanks in advance!
They run pretty bad even b4 full lock. I have the same tires and I run 1.75” hubcentric bora spacers and no run at all and stock out maybe .25-.5” past the factory flares. It’s a nice looking stance.
Good evening sir. Great video! I had recently ordered a 2022 ram 2500 laramie night edition. I have a couple of questions that I fiqured you can help me out. I am having the ram dealership install 2.5" leveling kit. I want to use my stock black 20" rims. Im sure 35" tires would work. But would the 37" work with no trimming etc? If so what size 37" tires would you recommend me to focus on? Any answers you can provide would greatly appreciated!
The 35’s and 37’s will rub the radius arms.. you might get a 37x12.50 but will prob require some trimming. If I’m going with 35’s will use 2.0-2.5 level. If I use 37’s I will usually use 3.0-3.5” level. A test fit is the best check after level if you can. Some kits use radius arm drop brackets that will keep axle in the right spot. If it’s a cheaper level kit it will push axle down and closer to the cab. Sorry it’s a long answer… hope it helps..
If you’re planning on a level buy a carli or thuren. You drop 80k on a truck don’t spend 150 on spacers !! Buy quality. Check out CJC off-road on RUclips
Are you pulling a 5th wheel or other trailer with these tires on the stock rim? Any concerns with tires not being rated for the stock rim size of 8 inch when pulling a 5th wheel etc?
Being an 80's kid from St.Louis I couldn't help but notice you have Big Foot parked there. Please tell us more about that. Is it a real Big foot truck or a replica?
It’s the Texas Toy.. it ran against big foot in the early 80’s. This was the truck big foot competed against and flipped end over end. If you search for 80’s monster trucks or Texas toy you will see the video. This truck has a Detroit diesel and Allison transmission that is the original equip it was built back in the day.
@@RockyRohde Very cool. I looked into some of your past videos and watch the video of you smashing cars in the backyard. Good stuff. I used to live one street over from Midwest 4X4 (the home of Big foot) I used to ride my bike there everyday and play on the trucks in the back of the building. And my uncle was best friends with Danny Degrosso the owner of the Beast. The Beast and Big foot use to have a local rival in the early 80's.
Hello. I just bought a 3500 2021 and it came with the nitto grapplar 37/12.50 also came with the same icon suspension I see you have and the front end rides really rough do you know what it could be? Maybe the coils the previous owner bought are the stiffer ones etc but it rides really rough in the front end. Looking for some help thank you
If you have reservoir shocks get rid of them.. order some fox shocks unless you plan to Baja some day.. I was not impressed with icon springs.. drop pressure to 55 front and 50 rear when not towing…
I do have the reservoir ones they’re the exact same ones that you have on your truck in the video. I appreciate the response very much. Is there a specific fox shock you recommend?
@@hypoglycemicdinners4737 my reservoir shocks started to rattle also.. go to fox shocks website and select truck.. also select how much rear lift you have not total. It will give you a part number with compressed and extended measurements. Measure your truck to verify. I like to have 2” extra for extended so they don’t bottom out. Just add 2” to what they measure now.
Beautiful truck...love the new Rams...they seem to just get better.
Very informal. Been learning alot off your videos. soon as I get me mine truck be coming back taking all your specs lol.
Good info with reasons. Daughter did well filming.

Yes
Just ordered a set of 35 toyo mt for my 21 Ram 3500 Limited thanks for the info
So what kind of fuel mileage are you getting after adding the level kit and tires?
Love that look, thinking of same set up with stick wheels and that same tire but with the Bilstein leveling kit..

Love the black truck, between a grey and a black limited
I buy all black trucks but they are unforgiving on cleaning and detail..

After a couple of years how is the tread wearing with those 13 wides? Stock wheel is 8 wide? Thinking of doing the same.
I have done it on all my trucks. Just don’t keep them over inflated. I run about 50 psi rear and 60 front

Are you pulling a 5th wheel or other trailer with these tires on the stock rim? Any concerns with tires not being rated for the stock rim size of 8 inch when pulling a 5th wheel etc?
I pull a Stryker 2916 tongue pull with wdh. I just make sure I have 65 psi before pulling and no issues. At 50 psi they are a definite no 😂
Overall height? Will it still fit in a standard garage door?
35x12.5 fit a bone stock 2500 (no leveling kit yet*) with no rub? Did I hear that right? I’m in the fence to upgrade! But not sure.
If you swapped your wheels for something with a small offset, it should stop the rubbing.
Running +18 20x9 with 13.50 tires on new rides.. much better for me.

It’s the Texas Toy.. it ran against big foot when Kramer rolled it end over end. Yes it’s an 80’s truck.. lots of videos on it on my channel
How did you get a 13 inch tire on a stock 8 inch wheel?
I was just wondering the same
Still no reply. Why would we like and subscribe?
Bought a 21 2500 tradesman with 6.4, looking to level. Will the 2.5 icon package work with the gas truck or is it tuned for the 6.7 diesel trucks?
What stage icon lift do you have?
The 2.5 kit with reservoir

What tint do you have?
5% ceramic on back and dark as legal on front
If you want a better riding suspension get Carli suspension 2.5 kings you will notice a difference
Icon 2.5 seems to be on point. Had Carli on my 2019
What brand double exhaust tip is that?
Mbrp
You sure this tire is not a 325/65?
Tire clearly says 325/60/20 on it.
