These tires worked really well in severe rain. The ride and handling were excellent too! But on my wife's '18 Ram 2500 4wd 6.7L, I am leaning towards the Continental Terrain Contact HT. While neither tire has the 3PMS rating. The HT has worked well on ice and desert terrain. They also have a quiet highway ride. I have these tires on a '15 Ram 1500 4wd and a '20 Dodge Durango 4wd.

I can't believe you've done 100,000kms. It feels like 4 months ago you posted the which tyre video when you choose the Contis. Time flies.

I had the TerrainContacts on my Tundra and they didn’t last very long and wore uneven. I rotated every 5K to 7K miles and only got around 35K miles on them. They performed great in the wet and were quiet but just didn’t last long. Got a new set of Bridgestones and love them after almost 10K miles. I don’t do much off road driving so couldn’t justify getting another AT tire. I almost went with the General Grabber HTS after your reviews on it but got a good deal on the Bridgestones so had to jump on them!

Glad you’re liking those Recon Grapplers. They seem like great tires, and unlike the very overrated Ridge Grapplers, they actually have a warranty. Just wish they were 3pms rated.

I had such bad luck with Nitto tires I will not buy any more sets of them. Mine wouldn't balance and were out of round etc Tire store tried over and over to make it right and nothing but bad luck. No thanks, but glad you are liking yours.

Could you check out the Nokian Outpost nAT tire? Not many reviews of it,but it looks promising.

Thanks for the videos. Would you mind reviewing the Nokian Outpost nAT? Seems like a good option and you do a great and thorough job reviewing (you mention rim protection, etc). Thanks!

The owner of a Ford dealership drives a Dodge truck. That would be a great commercial for Dodge. Our truck are sooooo good, even Ford dealership owner chooses our trucks over their own.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

@@CampusautoCoyou should do a review of your super duty tire/truck. Maybe like a buyer’s guide for ford vehicles for your customers to look at

After getting the alpha OBD program and a OBD hook up so I could get the stupid tire pressure sensor warning system set lower I have found running 55 psi on the rear and I actually still run the front at factory 65 my tire wear has greatly improved on my 17 RAM along with the drive ability of the truck when empty and when towing I always go back to the factory 80psi on the rear
Hope those Nittos hold up well so far the cooper at 3 xlt’s have been the best that I have ran to date

I really want to know about road noise and wet performance between the two...I have had the Continentals and loved them, but they do not make my size I want for my new truck. But the Recons are available.

Hello I think your the perfect person to ask about this. I also have the continentals but my truck vibrates on the highway and I hate it. I don’t know what tire to get next. I am looking at the Nitto Reacon and the Michelin AT2. What am looking for is I am wanting to get rid of the vibration on the truck at 70/80 mph. I know you used both and you please shine some light. Thank you

Is there a version of a Nitto tire you'd recommend for an F150 load range C? I tow a small rv trailer for my winter trips down south. In the summer I switch to my truck camper for mountain trips.

The tire looks really good, I hope they will satisfy you. I am going to spend some time tonight looking at Nitto tires.

Campus automotive , it took me 10 minutes of searching tire reviews on RUclips to find you even though I was subscribed. I had forgotten the name of your company.
I have a question. I’m getting ready to put a set of tires on a 2021 crew max. Are you happy with this Nitto grappler recon A/T? I 28 foot travel trailer about six times a year and I live in Ohio. I have Michelin A/T 2 that came on it when I bought it new. And I’ve put 59,000 miles on it. They were great tires but they don’t do well the last 10,000 miles if it’s wet/rainy. Thank you very much for your videos.

So my F150 is just about to roll over 60,000 miles. I’ve been very happy with the Goodyear Territory AT’s it came with. I love the look of the recon grapplers, but was worried about road noise and comfort. Sounds like that’s not a problem?

Hey Matt, I was thinking about getting a set of general grabber ATX, but I was wondering in your opinion what would be the best tire for longevity and fuel mileage for a dually in a 265/70/17

I wonder if the reasoning behind the deeper tread on the center of the continental is they figured the average person would set the tires to max psi and call it a day so it would wear the center a little faster

Hi Matt. Nice truck! I live in Tampa Fl and own a TRD Off Road Tacoma. My commute is mostly highway and 70 miles roundtrip. Is this a good application for my truck? Looks and well balance tires is my tops of my wish list. We do get a lot of rain here in the summer. If you ever want to sell that truck let me know. Thank you for great content.
