    These tires are great. 20k on them still looking as new. I've used them on road at high speeds (120mph) no issues, also used them while climbing dunes and I didn't even need to air down. They have very good grip on every condition. Almost no noticeable noise and their aggressive looks its amazing. I would buy them again for sure.

    I currently run Toyo MT 35s on Moto Metal wheels, I've always run them my last few tricks had 37s and 38s. I live in Washington so a place called Les Schwann had an exclusive on Toyos and they are outrageously expensive. A small tire shop just moved in next to me and I bought a set of "cheap" tires to put on a different set of wheels do the winter, they are Patigonias . I thought the would suck, they look loud a rough. I couldn't have been more wrong , they are the smoothest quietest mud tire I've ever run. I'm not sure what's next but definitely done with the Toyo MT.

    These tires look great but I'll never own another set. Mine are really slick in the rain. I never had the rear end of my truck kick out on wet roads in a low speed turn until I put these on my truck. Now, I have to be super careful in a turn on wet roads. I've also have a balancing problem with mine. I've had my wheels checked, no problems. We've checked them in 2 different shops on 3 different balancers and the machines say that all 4 tires are balanced but there is still a vibration at highway speeds. And because the machines show all 4 tires balanced, it's hard for us to tell which tire is causing the problem. I had hub centric rings installed made specifically for my wheels and this helped some but the vibration is still there at highway speeds. I had my truck inspected to see if something else was causing the problem and everything checked out fine. The problem didn't start until I put these on my truck. At just under 2000 miles on the tires, we contacted Nitto for a replacement set and they denied my request, claiming I waited too long. So now, I have a truck that drives just fine in the city, but vibrates every time I get on the highway.

      The Walkin Dude im sorry to hear that. I cant believe nitto denied you with only 2000 miles on these tires 😡. Thats horrible customer service. These might be my first and last nitto tire. Sure they look cool but with a bad warranty guarantee and sketchy performance in the rain, it just seems like an overall shitty product.

    • @thewalkindude7716
      @thewalkindude7716 4 года назад +2

      @@juaninestroza4200 Thanks for the tip but I'm already aired down. Max pressure on my tires is 50 psi and I'm running at around 36-37 psi. I've called several places that sell and install these tires and that's the pressure they're recommending. I can understand airing down to go off road, but to suggest that I should air down even more just to drive on a wet paved road is ridiculous. I now have over 5000 miles on these tires and the problem still exist. I'll never own another set of Ridge Grapplers.

    I have them on a 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins(35x12.50x18). Super quiet and a good feel in dry conditions. Thing I don't like so much is lack of traction in wet and snowy conditions. The heavy front end of the Ram is planted, but the back end lets loose way too easy with the RGs.

    I wouldn't get these in areas of snow or rain. Had them on my truck in the Northeast. They are barely passable in snow and sketchy at best in the wet. maybe in a southern climate or if you plan on putting on a snow tire. They are great for everything else probably one of the best. I just wasn't happy with wet and snow performance and the odd thing I found in reviews is that it is pretty split down the middle. You can find 100 people that say they are the best and 100 that say they are the worst in wet and snow. This is pretty odd unless it's a quality control issue?

    I have 20k miles with these on my ram 1500 and they are wearing perfect. I rotate every 5k bring the rears to the front and cross the fronts to the rear. I have no complaints about performance in any condition. They're great on dry pavement, never had a problem with them in the rain even a downpour I don't feel any slipping, light mud and snow they're great. My only complaint is they will pick up small gravel size rocks and throw them all day long. So with any kind of negative offset you're going to mess up your paint, but it's all good.

    Love my Ridge Grapplers on my FJ Cruiser! Quiet and smooth on the street but nice and grippy out on the trails. Aired down, these tires crawl over practically anything. Not too mention, they seem to drive through snow pretty well.

      Robb Evans my truck came with good years. Then I went to cooper snows, now the grapplers. The grapplers are the easiest to spin wet or dry. I don’t have high hopes for winter.

      Tyler Proud You are not crazy. The same thing happened to me. Even under normal acceleration at traffic light or stop sign, i can feel my truck hydroplaning and slipping from lack of traction. My truck came stock with dynapro at2 and those gripped like glue in the rain. I wanted nitto because it looked cool and tough and had alot of good reviews but its absolute dog shit in rain and lord forbid ice

    Im looking into buying the nitto exo grapplers for winter here in Montana, and the ridge grapplers for the summer. However, going that route gets really expensive. Would you recommend running just these all year round? I know you sort of touched on this in the video but just hoping you had a chance to experience both tires and could give me some clarity on this.
    Thanks.

Although I have decided to go with the wrangler duratracs as a one stop shop tire when the time comes. I can deal with the loud road noise in the summer and from what I heard they are excellent in snow amd ice for the winter.

    Do you know what width those 37s are on that tundra in the video? Also what size wheel and offset is it? I would assume it has the 8 inch ready lift since it has 37s under it right? I heard Fuller say that this truck belonged to an employee of custom offsets.

    Just about to replace my Ridge Grapplers (35x12.5R20). They've lasted for 62K miles.... which is crazy. My Rocky Ridge Silverado has been full sent up test hill at Silver Lake over a dozen times, wheeled in the DBBB, and through some other really muddy trails in KY. Driven to work most the year and also towed a 28 ft camper on them. I'll definitely be installing another set, this time 37x12.5R17.

      Yeah, they are honestly terrible on wet roads. I upgraded tire size and went from Wildpeak AT3Ws with 50% tread to Ridge Grapplers. 50% tread wildpeaks were grippier. After the switch I was immediately doing unintended burnouts when accelerating. From my experience, Wildpeak AT3W and KO2s are both better.

    I put 50,000km of highway driving on my truck every year. I ride dirt bikes as well and about twice a week I spend 20ish minutes on logging roads, and I live in British Columbia Canada where we get snow a few months of the year. I currently have the 295/55/20 Toyo at2 xtremes. I have had them for 3 years and it’s FINALLY ready to replace them. I’m just curious how the ridge grapplers are compared to the at2 xtreme. I am considering moving up a bit in size to a 33x13.5r20.
