I'm gonna miss Weems in s2 as well. Between her performance in this and _Sandman,_ Gwendoline is really smashing it outta the park.
I love that the biggest development moment isn't "now kiss!" but instead is "hug her!", that's so much better for a character like Wednesday. Honestly made it more impactful imo.
Tyler started his play, going into the "mixed signals" rant, and beginning to draw her in in the same episode where the botany class is about using sexual signals to attract the prey. He was at it early and knew what he was doing.
As far as wildly-popular Netflix shows go, I really had fun with this one. And watching the best reactors in the game digging it and hearing your commentary makes it that much more of a good time.
The Yellowjackets killing Christina Ricci's character joke killed me 🤣🤣🤣
I got so emotional at the hug. They set that character up beautifully.

The cold part about all of this is Xavier turned out to be absolutely right when he told Wednesday to leave if she wants to stop that prophecy from happening. Especially seeing how Crackstone's crypt was sealed with a blood lock that only a descendent of Goody Addams could open. Had she just went away then Crackstone wouldn't have risen, Nevermore wouldn't have closed down, and Principal Weems might still be alive. Xavier was looking out for everyone including Wednesday, who turned out to be the worst thing to ever happen to everyone.

But Christina RICCI send Tyler to pick up Wednesday at the train station. So it would have probably ended up the same even if wednesday got away as she was first going to do.
I like the fact that Christina Ricci said that never meet your heroes line because it meant a little bit more because she was the older Wednesday and it was a play on Jenna Ortega being Wednesday.
The Sandman season 2 deals with "Seasons of the Mist" as a major part of the story with Lucifer Morningstar (Gwendoline Christi) deserting Hell. Lucifer's part is much larger in this arc. This is why Gwendoline probably isn't in Wednesday season 2, too busy.
The reason I think people are upset about Gwendolyn Christie's Character being killed off is that Netflix waited too long to renew The Sandman which she is in that they had to kill her off 😒. Then they renewed Sandman. THE SANDMAN IS A GREAT SHOW and hopefully you can react to it down the road.

I think the most confounding thing about this finale is how much less intimidating Crackstone is with all the latex and oogy boogy piled onto him - he was legit menacing in the flashback
I thought he visually looked creepy and cool, but be was dispatched pretty easily. he Prolly should have got released last episode and maybe given a touch more to do.
Crackstone stole the land from the Outcasts, first. They took it back. All the Night Shades helped, get the other outcasts safely out of the school.
