i’ve used to watch the optiplex builds and i finally built one myself, i have an optiplex 7010 i bought off amazon, it had a i5-3470 and i bought a xeon e3-1230v2 which came in today, i also traded for a evga 400 watt from a friend of mine, waiting for me next pay check to buy a rx580 and then i’ll be good for a while, probably gonna sell it and build a ryzen pc. Love the videos!!
i didn’t buy the rx580 bc they are like 500 dollars now so i bought a 1660 super for $250 at a gamestop was the last one and traded it for a 1060 3gb and $200
The price is actually better than they claim you could snag a lenovo thinkcentre for like 100-130 dollars a 1050 ti for like 90 and a 240 gb ssd for 20 dollars

Finally a lower budget build ;D and as the core 2 duos, i3, 2 cores, 4gb ram, 2gb gpus etc. were all in the meta 2-3y back, 6-7th gen i5 prebuilts will replace current ones, i always thought of that and now its finally duable and happening
Here in the UK it is a struggle to find a 1050Ti for $300 let alone the rest of the system. Prices on the second hand market are just ridiculous at the moment.

I own one of these , ordered parts for it (msi gtx 1050 ti 4gb oc, 4gb more ram and 128gb ssd) but it just died one the day before the parts arrived ( just fan spinning but nothing else)
So for the frames not to drop and stay good playing games what part should be the one to get CPU are the GRAPHICS CARD are Ram so won't be no problem playing games frame dropping freezing skipping blurry
My pc build was around 1700dollars Plus 500 since I needed a desk,chair,monitor,keyboard, mouse,headset,mousepad. Not to mention the 200 I put aside so I can get games.

Honest question are most of the people who comment no money are you less than 16? I’m only saying 16 because you can get a part job and grind. That’s here on the US, but on a third world country parts cost way more and just saving for it takes quite a long time.
Wait. Parts are going to go up 7-20% in price here soon because there is a deal for electronics and tech that comes out of china that helps keep the costs down so with that deal out of date everything is gonna be expensive. Plus the cpu and GPU market are awful buying spaces rn. But the #1 thing you should start doing is asking your friends you know around for parts to buy off them you would be shocked how many people may have parts just laying around

How much better is the e3? I've got the same i5 as you and a rx480 8g. The cpu is the bottleneck though

The legacy 'parralel' port may be for terminal use. Often a reason why they sell so cheap. They were not considered 'real' / stand alone PCs.
