Nice pete! Crazy it's been same owner! You don't see that.
They've put a lot of money in that. It used to be a short hood. Now it's a long hood, that means they've moved the cab back or rerailed it. My son has a 1967 with a 359 long hood that's been modified. All it takes is money to buy a new one, to take an old one and make it run and perform with the new ones takes patience, time and money.

When I was 7 Yrs old I drove Dad's Brand New 1983 359 Peterbilt out of the glass Showroom at Tri State Peterbilt. Salesman jumped in front hollerin' he can't drive that outta here. Dad Screamed Move Idiot he can only push the Clutch in One Time...lol

I've been around trucks for all 46.5yrs of my life and I'll have to say that truck is perfection. Don't change a damn thing. Hats off these folks and their passion for taking pride in their ride. 10~10 on the side. Kick"r back.
I think this couple lives in Apache Junction, Arizona, which means that they're probably not more than 6-7 miles from me and have been for 22+ years now, and I have only seen that truck one time for just a few seconds, as it was going the opposite way on the freeway. I guess she really is always on the road. I've known about her and her truck for about 10-years now, but our paths just never seem to cross. I like the mods that have made it what it is today. Very nice truck!
