I need to get in touch with this guy
Can you get me signed up???
I would love to know this guy. Who can help?
@@pcovino7748 yes
I'd lay odds you couldn't help me!? How do I contact you? Been driving trucks since 9yo (parents taught all 4 were truckers),, anyways when parent divorced they married other truckers, drove trk a operated heavy equipment for dad many yrs, teamed with step-dad part-time,, a d run across and led or followed all 3 from coast 2 coast. Had to get out in '05,, now trying to get back in,, can you help?!?
This is why real drivers and companies last. No corporate greed or bs. New drivers won't understand. Trucking is a lifestyle
Holy cow who would call that junk!! I see a whole lot of flat beds. I love flat beds becuse they keep you in and out of that cab and physical active.
You want to see junk just go to Gentry ands sons channel .
@@francisswayer4954 what's so junk about them? They have over 18 trucks over there. Not as good looking but they still make a good chunk of change.
He wasn't talking about the truck at the show genius he meant the unfinished ones at his shop. He has 8 licensed running trucks.
@@FLaKiiTOo015 If your refering to BS Gentry's junk, he may have 18 trucks but they are all not on the road making change pay attention most of them are parked in the woods and in the fields because they are junk and just how would you know what kind of change that moron is making??
Gentlemen, I believe he said literally turning pieces of junk into works of art and bringing them back to life.
Love this guy’s professional attitude about the biz and his drivers. He is about right paying 80k for local. My guys do that and a bit more. Home every night. No we’re not hiring.
How about now?
@@daMillenialTrucker or now
@@timothygonzalez5949 or how about now?
Most local jobs pay about 80k a year.
The last thing that Adam said shows exactly who he is. Surround yourself with people who want to be successful and you will become successful. You are who you hangout with. I love that.
Great words of wisdom💪
The world needs more good people like you , God bless you all
I have been driving 44 years, retired now! But I would definitely drive that bad boy! Keep on trucking!
My truck 2002 ford lt9513, always working on it, either be lights, oil leaks, or wheel seals everyone says it's junk, broken dash etc, but it's paid for and makes around 4000 to 5000 a week, keep on trucking brother
That means that's a unreliable piece of junk how do all those simple ass things break so often for you
its a ford what do you expect?
Never sale your work horse 🐎
I'm so jealous. Not of the awesome trucks, but of Adam's awesome attitude. As a owner operator for 26 years I've become a person I can't even stand to be around. Mad props Adam and family.
I'm sure it the way life has treated you that you feel that way about yourself..
You're acknowledging being jealous of the guy's attitude --- just goes to show you and anybody that reads your
" YouhaveaFriendinMe " TELLS ME YOUR ALOT MORE THAN YOU GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT. BUCKLE UP FRIEND--- YOU BEEN DOWN NOW PULLER UP & GO GET IT DONE. You can do this --- that I am sure....
I been there/ kinda a bad flashback but YOU GOT THIS..✔️👍
@@donnadunn8301 thanks for your kind words. Lots of people say i don't see what they see, but what I seei know i don't like but it's unfortunately been me for 20 some odd years. I try every day but I sure loved his attitude and wish someone like him would come along and help. It's a continual curse that seems to rule over me and it definitely makes it tough.
Love that he treats each truck as an owner operator would. Rare to see, great maintenance program. Good boss
Wow wish all business owner were like that. When I get my two yes under my belt. That’s where I wanna go. For sho. 💯💯😎🤘🏽🤟🏽
Goodluck on everything
What a humble great guy. Im a one truck show, hope to get where he's at someday. Peace, from the Twin Cities ~
Excellent company to drive for.. I really love working for Adam Johnson. Greatest trucking job I've ever had. K&D Transport rocks
How do I get in contact with Adam Johnson k&d transport I live in Delaware I have a tractor international ProStar I have no trailer and the truck is not insured or tagged up its sitting in the front yard ...... Could he help me out here
Andy, what truck show/ where was this?
Not to many out here like him. Guys this someone you wanna work for hands down
I seen this truck today in Utah. That’s cool as hell
♦️People like this guy are the real spirit of USA . People like him are what make America great 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🌟♦️
This is where I want to be! Except the people I surround myself with are NOT goal- minded! This is why I continue to search for a social circle that's actually going somewhere. Kudos to You!
Can’t lie these videos gave me the motivation to pursue to cdl, I’ve been slacking long enough
Passed my permit test fellas
Are u going to trucking school
Don't be STUPID !! DO YR RESEARCH!! OR I'LL SALE U MINE
Wow I love seeing all these motivated, enthusiastic good hearted people. I really enjoy your channel. Keep up the great work, it motivates me to better myself too 👍 Thankyou all the way from New Zealand
Thanks for your videos, I am 54 and researching getting in to OTR. I currently drive charter and school buses. You have some much great information on your channel. I am just about to pull the trigger to upgrade my CDL
Can’t wait to get out California and meet some truckers across the map 💪🏽
I would have Love to have a truck like that when I was driving in the 60s and 70s .No AC OR POWER STEERING .
I see these guys running Indiana all the time...great crew and killer equipment! Great interview
My "old skool" ended with leaving NC on Friday afternoon and unloading at the Port of Los Angeles on Monday morning (running by myself) 5 days after I got back to NC, I started hauling Classic cars and never looked back. No "must pick up or deliver " . Be there when I get there......safe with zero damage to a load of irreplaceable vehicles. I had a OO lease on to me that had a custom built 359 with a 3406 CAT that pulled my 10 car open rack. He got more looks than half the cars he carried. LOL! Said he spent too much time in truck stops letting people look at his truck. In fact, I had the trailer painted the same color as his truck.......made it worse. Good show. Great people & trucks! Keep it going!
Mudtrucker keeping rolling I swear on the road thanks for the motivation Mia !!
Those trucks are beautiful. Drive with pride and hold your head up high.
That K&D outfit has some badass units in the fleet. I see several of em at SDI
i would work for you anyday...the pride you take in your equipment...👍🙌👍
much love..from jamaica
I drove 35 years. And now at 66 I'm retired but wow if I could I would come down and drive. Beautiful trucks. Damn.!!! God bless!! JOHN.MINNESOTA
Yeah man thank you for the content. You are doing something that gives some motivation ! Thanks dud
What a humble dude
That kw is righteous to the bone. KT Cummins maybe sometime.
Nice interview Adam, it was nice to watch. 👍😊
Cheers… always liked the looks of the older trucks. Get some 70s 80s cabovers up. And running. Those are the prettiest.
Geez, I would love to go to work for him. His head is 150% into trucking. But I live too far west
Interesting andawesome! Where were you a few years ago?!!😏 I'm 67 and semi retired from driving regional : until they call me again, since a week ago.😎
Good and steady is the way to go. I like his mindset very much.
Yessss
That’s funny I drove my whole life and I never even took my son for a ride in my truck and trucking was a lot better back then than it is now
I raised my son on the truck from 2 till 4 years old,he's 20 now
What a great guy. Awesome interview. Keep living the dream, hand
The really passionate about the Trucking.
My respect.
Happy for you! You own all of them. And you worked hard for that, and your right, you should be proud of yourself! Great job! Good luck on all of your journey's! Godspeed!
The smart thing is these older trucks do not need sensors and chips that are not available.
Respect to this guy. Oldschool
Great interview, and this brother is the coolest! I’m 48 and I’m inspired by this brother! Keep up the good work guys!!!!!! God bless
i so want to work for this guy, hard worker and humble
I saw the 680 passing through Wausau the other day.. Looking very nice!!
Now this guy truly sounds like a good person to work for or with! When I jump out here with my own semi, I'm definitely going to try to remember to look him up and maybe he can help assist me, in being a much better trucker and business man!
Great video. I was about to sell all my old Pete's. Thanks for the motivation.
Wow what a humble dude 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🙏much success to u
That truck is super clean i saw it on the highway he got the golf car to match the truck
finally another truck similar to the legend 350
I met this guy. Really awesome and loves what hes doing. My cousin is really good friends with him. Went for a little ride in it around the truck show and it’s gotta be one of my favorites except for cabovers.
That’s some nice trucks brother! If I was to move out there I would definitely want to try and drive for you! Solid braddah all the way around! All the best to you and everybody that make the company prosper 🤙🏽
Aaaah snap AMS show guy. But that matching classic bike is perfect on that flat bed
Mr mutha trucker keep up doing a great great job u have help so many people stay strong JESUS LOVE YOU and keep doing the best for all drivers👍
Appreciate you so much
Simply Elevate your Goals 💯
My Grandfather drove the first chain driven truck and it had solid pneumatic tires on it when it took a week to go from the NY area to Phila. He had no heat or defroster back then and had to wrap newspapers around his feet to keep them warm in the winters.
Cool guy with great attitude 👍
Yeah, he's a humble guy
Holly cow that's a beautiful truck💕🌹
He is an example of midwest work ethic! Kudos!
Wowser..those are some beautiful rigs.
These trucks are beautiful , My favourite trucks are, oshkosh, any Autocar, any W series kws, any star, Leyland hippo, any Mack from the 60s 70s 80s and the trustee old scammell, the list goes on, so people who call your trucks junk just don't know trucks, you have a very very nice line up, I am envious🕶️. Keep on trucken
I will tell u i give u credit for your hard work .when u run your buns to dead. U deserve it i dont care what nobody said. U.done a good job..god bless u
Awesome interview!
MOVE YOUR BAR!!! KEEP ON PUSHIN!!!
thats awesome advice..... keep moving the bar..you dont need to achieve your goals,, strive to just get better.. one day
this fella is inspiring to all .. im a take a page
Excellent video my boy, more flat glass KWs for us Kenworth guys, RUclips is overfilled with Pete’s! 👍🏼✌🏼
As the ole saying goes "Who cares what others think" they make you happy.
Wow your company is close . Nice Trucks . Awesome 👍🇺🇸
Beautiful trucks I love old school rigs
Great show!
Awesome advice
I’m about to get my license tomorrow and I hope one day I either get to drive to a company like this or create my own.
That’s the goal I have set in my mind.
Some guys build hot rods he build trucks, god bless him, he’s living the life he’s loves, not many people can say that, good for him.
One of few willing to train. Good for him. Everyone wants to act like there's a labor shortage but nobody wants to spend 2 weeks familiarizing good capable people. Such a joke
Alot of the better insurance companies won't let you hire people with less than 2 years experience. My insurance is no less than 9 years experience. Think about it
"No less than 9 years experience", what is the name of that insurance company?
@@ModernMessiah Doesnt make any sense. At some point there will need to be new entrants to the industry with little/no experience. I'm coming from the corporate world where this is a major problem. I do see some driving jobs no experience required thankfully.
@@Nick-qv3zg Yes its the insurance co. that won't allow it, mine asks 2 years exp..i'm sure i could find insurance that would however it probably would be more money and not sure if it would be worth it
Respect to this man it’s about how you carry yourself. Nothing materialistic rather a way of life 🛻
Those are really beautiful tractors I always say one man's junk is another man's treasure💰💰💰💰💰💰💲💲💲💲
This is my kind of energy
So basically be a mechanic first before a driver to own your own business and be successful
I say, go for it and work hard and Save Money For Rainy Days and u will be allright
Being a mechanic on the trucks and trailers helps you to appreciate the times they arent in the shop! I've seen way to many steering wheel holders abusing the hell out of equipment, and when it breaks they leave it where it sits like a cow taking a shit.
Take care of the truck, ot will take care of you =)
Speechless!!!
I was like 🤯
He’s a totally very cool dude with lots of style.
I STARTED DRIVING IN 82 IN A SINGLE ALXE CAB OVER MAC AFTER THAT I GOT A KW K100 WITH DOUBLE BUNKS THOUGHT I WAS KING OF THE ROAD BUT WHEN I GOT MY FIRST CONVENTIONAL W900 KW WITH A WALK IN I NEVER WENT BACK TO CAB OVERS UNTIL I BOUGHT A 81 K100 CHANGED OUT THE CUMMINGS FOR 550 CAT WITHAN 18 I USE FOR HUALING HEAVY EQUIPMENT KNOW I WILL NEVER SELL THIS TRUCK
I am inspired by this guy!
I just got my CDL 4 months ago, I have HAZMAT, Tank, and passenger endorsements (I retired as a Transporter in the Army with 16 years; 7 years prior service in the Navy). I will be starting Diesel Technology School learning Freightliner, I plan to do mechanics for 2-4 years then drive trucks after my youngest graduates high school.
I would like to own two trucks, and reitre financially after 10 years. I hope to own used cab over, and get it show ready.
Great goal just put dates on them and I believe you will and can accomplish your dreams.. Btw thanks for your service.. From 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Beautiful W9!
Amén my beloved brother on everything you said 🙏🌻🌞💜🇩🇴🇺🇸
If I was 25 years younger I would be there . Been driving for 40 years and was a owner for 22 years . But that's awesome what he is doing . Great job in my eyes . Great interview .
Nice truck. There jeolous dude. Very nice. Good job bro
I really believe this guy would be an excellent guy to work for! Sounds like he takes care of his drivers if they take care of him! That is hard to find in a boss anymore! Once had an owner tell me that truck drivers were a dime a dozen! I tossed him a dime and told him here is a dozen of your kind of drivers! He said he had a stack of applications knee high. Then asked him how many drivers he went thru in a month and he got real quiet!
He's an awesome guy to work for
Good Lookin Rig!
Beautiful trucks
Rare bread, God bless
Nice rigs!!!
Well said sir
Pride in your truck means you love the darn thing 👍🏻
Wow excellent video
I like taking junk and making it something cool a man after my own heart haha awsome
Wow that how I think about everything get something that nobody wants and I make something nice about it 🙏🌻🌞💜🇩🇴🇺🇸
One mans junk is one mans pride! When you have pride you can drive a piece of junk an make it look good. Thrsevtrucks aren’t junk an you need more than pride to ride these sexy things!!!
Talk that talk !!! Haters will find issues with ya when doing something correct. You made it when you have haters .. you made it!!! Lol
