I've always loved Battlefield Bad Company, and a Fan of mine sent me some fan mail and in return, he requested this game be my next Side by Side. I thought it was a perfect choice since I love this game. I compare the Playstation 3 vs the Xbox 360 and Xbox One using an Xbox One X. I also mess with RPCS3 and Xenia Emulators.

I love this game! Excellent side by side - i think it would have been worth mentioning and showing how the game running in back compat on Xbox One X forces 16x Anisotropic Filtering for much better looking textures, mostly noticeable on the ground, expecially going off into the distance.
And back compat mode for the xbox one x also forces vsync on, which should have eliminated most of the tearing.
Actually: BF2 Modern Combat was the first one to be console exclusive, Vanilla BF2 on PC is a whole different game.

True. But that was also an expansion for battlefield 2 on pc. I said first time a battlefield game was made exclusively for consoles
@@RookerVision actually not, Modern Combat is completely different game,
1. 1st battlefield to have campaign
2. The only game to have the mechanic Hot Swap
3. This battlefield is only available for PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360(you should do a comparison btw)
4. They only put the name Battlefield 2 cuz of the brand, but it’s very different from the actual Battlefield 2 that is exclusive to PC
I'll do more research for sure. But I thought I read it was a dlc for pc

Bad company should have had "custom game" with bots without internet like BF 1942, Vietnam and BF 2, at least the first Battlefield game with Frostbite to have that option. It could be awesome.
Those characters you have to be with are not the heroes we expected, but by god they are great

SSX 3 next!!! Ps2, GameCube, Xbox, GBA, Gizmondo, plus it was put on Xbox backwards compatibility and still looks incredible!

God i love bad company 1 it was my first game i ever played actual online multiplayer on besides like Playstation Home maybe but thats just hub based not competitive.I got it on my 13th birthday for PS3 back in 2010 and fell in total love and eventually fell for bad co 2 and no battlefield game is the same now.... i miss that era of games as a whole

Can you make comparison between medal of honor 2010 on xbox 360 and pc and ps3?
Once again i understand ghe differenced in quality between the 2 systems, but its odd when you have flowers missing on the xbox version that generally looks better the entire time.
Awesome game, way better than the main Battlefield games. Bad co. 1 and 2 are seriously great games, and they’re also backwards compatible with Xbone.

The system did improve with time. PS3 probably looks softer because it may use a Blur filter.

Knowing the potential of the PS3 makes me sad to see it suffer so bad on cross console titles.
It's true, but PS3 is in the past now, while on newer Xbox consoles you can still play it with even better filtering. So now it technically runs best on the most performant console. I'd love to see it run on PS4/PS5 too, but hey - at least we can still buy it and run on modern hardware, which is a big no for many titles from that era.

Xenia is very demanding on higher end cpu's and cpu's in general. But rpcs3 is less demanding than xenia. but still rpcs3 isn't as easy to emulate. So for now avoid xenia.
Next time buy next gen consoles by using side by side videos

Xbox 360 is just more powerfull than ps3 and that's a fact
With some early games yeah. But later on. It was so close between them. I've found that console wise. PS3 allows you to do more things with it when it comes to if you want to use a SSD on the system. PS3 let's you use pretty much any HDD or SSD you want with it. While on 360 you can only use a Microsoft made HDD. Or use a External HDD or SSD from a USB 2.0 port. So your definitely not getting what you'd want from it vs if it was a internal HDD or SSD plugged into the systems SATA 2 port. Put a SSD in PS3 and it fixes most of the PS3's issues. And to improve the system further. I bought a Mclassic. Makes it way better than a 360 with all this. Brings new life to the PS3. And 360 also if you do all this stuff. But yeah you can only use a Microsoft made HDD on 360 and a External SSD from USB 2.0. Vs PS3 with a Internal SSD running from a SATA 2 port. PS3 will give you way faster speeds that way over 360. You can mod your 360 though to get the SATA 2 port in 360 to accept any SSD or HDD of a certain memory size.

No it is through backwards compatability which the game is emulated via an xbox 360 emulator that Microsoft made. They have upscaled the game also with higher aliasing and better resolutions as i heard.

It's the same as 360 on one S. Hell it's the same on 360 as all backwards compatibility games are.... With only a few exceptions that got uodat for the one X. (This did not)

I hate the bad company games just because of their terribly aged mechanics like the 30 fov, the trash "hit markers", or the driving controls, etc. I'm just used to modern games' mechanics too much
I didn't mind it, seemed to play good to me.
