I think the difference in carry is due to spin. Your spin numbers on Trackman (and Flightscope) are calculated (shown as italic). You have to use RCT balls for the test to be real. Nice that the shotshape is close to each other, because the Spin Axis is calculated on a radar unit
We didn't have any RCT balls at the point of testing unfortunately. Definitely something we can look at in the future, examining the difference in the spin when it is measured by both units.
Do you intend to do this test again but with RCT balls? They make a huge difference to accuracy for both these launch monitors so would be interesting to see
Mevo recommends at least eight feet from ball to screen. Hard to tell for sure on your video, but the distance from ball to screen on your setup seems shorter than eight feet. Could make a difference. Would be interested in the results with Mevo’s recommended setup parameters.
Hi there, we were hitting with the Mevo distance ball to monitor 8ft and ball to screen distance 8.5ft. So considering the short distance to screen, I feel like the Mevo did really well in comparison to the Trackman. Is there another launch monitor you would like us to review?
HI, just an off topic question. I'm building a home simulator and I really like how you have designed the enclosure walls. Do you mind sharing what size foam thickness is used in the enclosure and is it leather over it? Thanks
Could you review the little Mevo at the side of the trackman , mine seems very accurate with every club apart from driver with spin numbers been really high 3000/4500

Could you compare the club path and attack angles between Mevo+ and Trackman? would be really appreciated - thanks
Brilliant video. Would like to see the Garmin r10 comparison with them both! Thanks
did you use the silver dots on the balls when you did this test? My Mevo+ worked best with them on the balls indoors

The mevo needs a minimum of 10 feet of ball flight.
Suggests 8 but more is better for more data collection
Have you compared the Flightscope X3 with the Mevo+ Pro?
5 yard carry is not a lot for your gap wedge??

what distance from hitting area to screen are you working with, and distance from hit to mevo+?

I would love to see comparison with Skytrak+ and Trackman!!
definitely in the pipeline
Where are you located?
We are located in South Cheshire
Surprised so many RUclipsrs do comparison videos whilst not using the recommended balls that the manufacturers specify. Pointless exercise.
