underrated channel. All your vids bring something interesting, and the overall "flow" as well as the sequencing is just smooth, natural, logical and allows to focus on the content and assimilate it.
Whoa, are you with Arctic? I always understood the "whining" sound to be resonance from the fan blades' shape/material; was it really the motor all along? Definitely swapping over if that was addressed. edit: just noticed that the fan blades are attached to a ring around the perimeter. If it came down to the fan blades I have to assume that helped!
Hi, thanks for this comment! I love the LF II AIOs, but have swapped out the fans due to this distinct tone appearing at some RPMs. Are you saying that this tone is gone with the new ARGB version? This is fantastic news if that’s the case!
Just swapped my Corsair SP for 2 Arctic P12 and wow! That's day and night. Even at full speed noise is perfectly acceptable compared to constant throttling of the corsair's fans and mid-high speed. Good job Arctic !
I just picked up a 3 pack and they are exactly what I was looking for in my new build. I'm not a 'fan' of the ring RGB and like that these are more subtle with the brightness and it's defused well. I've used Arctic in all my builds over the years and took the plunge into RGB this time. Chalk it up to peer presuer I guess. Ended up with a free DarkFlash DLM21 case due to a newegg mess up and they said keep it as it cost to much to ship back. Now my son and I sport the same case. I usually do mods to Mac G5 cases and I may still do it but for now this works. That Mac G5 is just calling my name from my garage to mod it. Thanks for the video!
Nice review as always. Could you change the pinky background color of your charts to something more neutral? It makes charts barely readable on smartphone 😅 Any advice for a rgb 140mm fan with standard Argb connectors?
id love to get a set but Amazon is selling these at 97€+ shipping that puts another 8 euros on top...hard pass at those prices, really hoped i could get them at 43.
How would you install this for positive airflow inside a case with 2 radiators? The black rims do look like they would mess up the visuals. A pull config test would be great.
Could you use the ARGB on the Artic eSports 34 cooler, also thanks for the acoustic tests. great to see what they sound like in an actual system not just outside the case.
Interesting video. I have an Arctic Freezer II 420mm AIO. It works well, keeping my toasty 9900k at reasonable temps. I have wondered if Arctic will ever make a 140mm equiv of their ARGB fans for the P14 version. It does seem in their colourful additions to their AIO range they are only, as yet anyway, releasing those that use the P12 type of fans. Putting the lack of bling aside the 420mm AIO is most capable and only needs one cable when connecting. BTW in other videos I understand why you use the Noctua fans (Noctua NF-A12x25) as you do, they are known as a std for other 120mm fans to reach. When I had a Noctua cooler I changed both of their fans for two Thermaltake 120mm Toughfan 12, they looked better being black, and the cooling was most comparable. The Thermaltake 120mm Toughfan 12 are very good.
Great video with the comparison! In my personal opinion I think the mouse-clicking should be left out of the audio samples, it's harder to focus on the difference. Or maybe just do a couple at the start/end of the sample. Keep up the awesome vids tho!
I installed these yesterday im a bit dissaointed they are so silent 😂,my other computer sounds its going to lift of....i bought these cause i like the rgb ,but also cause my cpu was getting to 60 degrees celcius when idle ,when i installed a new cpu cooler from nzxt (with new termal paste)it went down to 31 degrees now installed 2 of these in the front 1 in the back ,(replacing stock earocool on in the back )the cpu idle is around 28 degrees celcius😮.
i think you can set it in software like mystic light(if your motherboard is Msi), theres also the RGB version not aRGB which only is static color and its a little bit cheaper
interesting review! Thank you 😉

Glad you like the fans and thanks for the positive comments. Yes, we did look into every corner to improve that motor noise.

I just did the same swapped my Corsair ML 120s for artic and I just run them at full speed all the time and they are still quieter.

can't wait for a 140mm version. I got some Cooler Master ARGB 140mm fans for my meshy boi though
I sincerely love the format of this channel combined with the delivery!
Subbed!
Belled!
That can transition in the beginning was fire 🔥
The music plus production quality plus information. Perfect.
thanks for the review, i think this model is one the best rgb fan on the market, better acustic than the original p12
Dangit, Arctic, stop being so awesome!
don't stop*
Thx bro! Tried to find some1 reviewing this fan!
Is the logo in the center of the hub a sticker on the Arctic P12 ARGB?
Personally rocking full arctic Lancool II haha, thank you for the reviews. 2 p14 argbs at front and 1 p12 argb as exhaust at the back
Is it compatible with Asus Arua Sync?
Can you compare the Arctic P12 fans against the Lian Li Unifans?
unifans are not for performance
Thanks for the review. Is the ARGB model improved in hum noise in a specific rotational speed band compared to the previous model?
From my testing through various RPMs, yes, it was difficult to detect the same growl or whine as the originals.
@@MachinesMore thank you!! 😊🙏
I had to return these because of the whistling. It would not go away in the 1000-1500 RPM range which is where mine would run
When you bought some "ok" fans for rgb then this appears on your feed 🙂
Is it possible to control those fans (rgb) via software? I was only been able to do in through bios so far.
hi, can I use those fans on an aorus b550m with rgb fusion 2.0?
Is RGB controller compatible with ARGB fans ?
can i sync it with my MSI MPGx570 Gaming plus.?
Great content as always
how is this compared to the QL120 and SF120M ARGB in terms of perf/noise ? Thanks!
Can you compare the p12 argb to the LIAN LI Uni SL120? 😊👍🏽
Is there an installation video anywhere on RUclips
Just daisy chain them then connect to your 5v 3 pin argb header
Do I need a pwm hub? Or pwm daisy chainable
Nice review as always.

I think there is a white version if it helps anyone, but at least in my country they are a bit more expensive
Awesome review!
Now if they can only come with slim white fans with RGB!
Could you use the ARGB on the Artic eSports 34 cooler, also thanks for the acoustic tests. great to see what they sound like in an actual system not just outside the case.
Yea, they are regular p12 just with rgb. They will be fine
I can't get my fans to light up :( my case fans in the back, but not these fans that came with my liquid cooler
How do you set your colours of your fans to be like that?
Check your mobo’s rgb utility. It’s different with each manufacturer. If you use a controller it should also come with software.
@@MachinesMore I'm using MSI mystic light and it seems like the colours are all fixed sigh.. great video btw!!
@@johnlee3830 Not fixed colours, you can change the modes to suit what you want
@@johnlee3830 You can also try OpenRGB but check if it works fine with your parts in their wiki.
Waiting for P14
6:51 Arctic Whining noise also know as humming

why are you using PST (static pressure) as a case fan instead of non PST fan? Usually a PST fan is for rads and coolers specifically, no?
PST model means it has the daisy chain cable
Just need them in white
was trying to listen to the fans, but then suddenly som1 started to click with their PC mouse.. very strange
Just a point of reference for sound level.

do they have static colour ?

@@senexiar thanks a lot
Yes. The cycling colors are just one of the many settings (affectionately known as "rainbow puke")
would it be possible to swap in these fans on a non-RGB Artic cooler?
