Just bought a 2021 white 2.0t sport, traded in a 2012 white accord v6 coupe with 75,000 miles….didn’t wanna trade it in the car it was in perfect condition v6 was strong! But went in for an oil change and sales guy said cmon test drive one! So I did and we did the process! Got a good price on it as well they came down from 33,000 and I’m putting tinted window and black gloss roof wrap this week. Great car!!!! Black roof on a white accord is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I traded my 08 Accord V6 for this car in Sonic Gray Pearl last Friday, and I am in love! I was a little hesitant going from the V6 to the 4 cylinder, but the turbocharged engine is a perfect trade off.

I just BOUGHT this car today, in West PA!! (exact model and color in the video) I will pick it up next week, can't wait! I've driven Hondas since 1998, beginning with a '98 Accord. Have also had two Honda PIlots and a CR-V since then. Now back to an Accord after 16 years with SUVs. I love the styling of this car, and of course I know I'll love the performance too. I've always appreciated a "spirited" engine! haha Honda knows how to engineer a great car. Simply can't wait to drive it!

I really wish they made the SE with a 2.0 turbo engine. It’s really tough they couldn’t include the electric seats on the passenger side or even the full leather. But hey at I’ll take the sunroof for sure over those things.

The only thing I think Honda should’ve kept the same was the fog lights. The rectangular shape looks, in my opinion better and more aggressive . Besides that the car looks clean.
I want Honda to hear me out. There are a few features I want them to put on the highly respectful Honda Accord, such as power-folding mirrors, power trunks, and red leather seats on the 2.0T Sport.

I have 2021 Honda Accord Sport SE. it doesn't have the heated rearview mirror nor does it have the indicators in the side mirrors. However, what it does have is pedal so it can be driven like a standard transmission. I don't know how to drive a standard transmission and I would like to see how are those are used.

I just got mine 2021 2.0 sports in pearl black and love the car. It just started making this hum noise sometimes and found out that the sound canceling system inside the car is the reason so as soon as you turn off the speakers, it goes away

Warning to those who live in winter climate conditions. I had a 2008 Accord with uncoated factory rear brake calipers that required replacement every 2 years. The salts laid down on the roads rust and seize up the brake calipers. Plus at that point, the rear rotors and pads will also need to be replaced. It's quite an expensive ordeal but not sure if Honda has addressed this issue in its newer models

Does the car have a feature that turns off gear selection when car is in motion? Because say your driving and the passenger want to be funny and press buttons, it wouldn’t react right?

I just try my best to make it Fun and Informational but it doesn't hurt to additional research with many sources like Online Reviews, RUclips, Friends and Family, and etc..
In all honesty, as a driver for over 40 years, I would personally not recommend THIS car as your first car. Too much power. I remember what I was like at 16 and I could not have handled a car like this without getting myself in trouble. (speeding and/or crashing) Wait till you're a more experienced driver, THEN you can move up to a more powerful engine. (not to mention, this car is rather expensive for a teen's first car) Just my two cents. Feel free to not spend it. lol
Honda doesn't have the V6 available for the 2018 Honda Accord and newer but replaced that with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The peak torque production of the 2.0T exceeds that of the previous generation’s V-6 by 21 pound-feet, occurs much earlier in the rpm range and lasts much longer. Regular fuel is fine as well.
on a sad note my phone just went thru a software update and now wireless android auto is unstable, it unconnects and reconnects constantly. i tried uninstalling/reinstalling android auto but it didn’t help, now i have to plug in 😞

I hate how all the car companies are going to push button shifting. I still like having a shift lever in the console. The Kia K5 GT has all the same features with 40 more hp and a shifter in the console.
I like to lock valuables in the trunk, if this accord is broken into when I'm away from the vehicle, will the trunk open without the keyfob being nearby?

Looking through tall the reviews on RUclips they’re weren’t any reviews where they talked about the actual sound system in the car. I listen to music all the time so this is something Important to me
If you care about performance, 2.0T is the way to go. Much quicker and more torque. Plus you get the extra blows and whistles like sunroof, ac vents in the back, automatic start, blind spot monitoring.. If you care about gas MPG, then go with the 1.5.

Mine is a 2020 model. Only thing different is mine doesn't have wireless charging, no USB ports for rear passengers, and no rear seat belt alert. But they are built the same. But all sport models (1.5T or 2.0T) or the sport special edition will not have the parking sensors on the bumpers. You will have to get the higher trims to have that feature.
What is the official time for the 0-60 on the 2021 2.0 sport trim? I’ve seen 5.5-5.7 from the big car magazines and a few people on here say those same times so I guess it’s in the 5 second range
@@b1bo840 2021 supposed to be faster. They added more throttle response I have a draggy and I got 5.54 in cooler weather. When it’s 95 degrees out it almost in the 6.4 second range

In all honesty, as a driver for over 40 years, I would personally not recommend THIS car as your first car. Too much power. I remember what I was like at 16 and I could not have handled a car like this without getting myself in trouble. (speeding and/or crashing) Wait till you're a more experienced driver, THEN you can move up to a more powerful engine. (not to mention, this car is rather expensive for a teen's first car) Just my two cents. Feel free to not spend it. lol
Wireless carplay/android auto and the wireless charging are they standard features ?
Yes they're standard features on selected trim levels
Can you explain the maintenance in the dash menu. What information does that menu give you?

touring has adaptive suspension, ventilated seats, hud, 450w stereo and maybe 1 or 2 more buttons

Is the 2.0 T basically another name for V6? And does the 2.0 requires premium 93 gasoline?
fun fact: the mazda 6 needs premium fuel to produce 250hp and 310lb ft of torque and it still gets spanked by the accord on regular fuel 😂
Honda doesn't have the V6 available for the 2018 Honda Accord and newer but replaced that with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The peak torque production of the 2.0T exceeds that of the previous generation’s V-6 by 21 pound-feet, occurs much earlier in the rpm range and lasts much longer. Regular fuel is fine as well.

on a sad note my phone just went thru a software update and now wireless android auto is unstable, it unconnects and reconnects constantly. i tried uninstalling/reinstalling android auto but it didn’t help, now i have to plug in 😞

@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 no i hadn’t contacted my dealer yet but i think i solved the problem. i went into android autos troubleshooting site, so far it seems to have worked, i drove 40mi with no issues... time will tell.

If you care about performance, 2.0T is the way to go. Much quicker and more torque. Plus you get the extra blows and whistles like sunroof, ac vents in the back, automatic start, blind spot monitoring.. If you care about gas MPG, then go with the 1.5.

@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 compare the 2.0 engine to the regular Honda engine and see if getting a 2.0 over the 1.5 is worth the money and is the 2.0 a lot more gas money despite it being about 2k more because of the faster engine

Does this come with back or front sensors?
Mine is a 2020 model. Only thing different is mine doesn't have wireless charging, no USB ports for rear passengers, and no rear seat belt alert. But they are built the same. But all sport models (1.5T or 2.0T) or the sport special edition will not have the parking sensors on the bumpers. You will have to get the higher trims to have that feature.

@@b1bo840 2021 supposed to be faster. They added more throttle response I have a draggy and I got 5.54 in cooler weather. When it’s 95 degrees out it almost in the 6.4 second range
