My heart breaks for jeanettes mother. Jeanette was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I can feel her mothers pain. I lost my youngest daughter to cancer 33 yesrs ago. Fairly often the women who have been raped and/or killed have been atlethic and would have stood a fairly good chance of defending themselves or getting away if they had noticed that someone got up just behind them.

As an electrician, I use tons of 'zip-ties' as they're sometimes called. They make both plastic and metal tabbed ones, I always get the metal tab ones because they hold up better. I don't know about back then but these days, anyone can get the metal tab ones.........
