$4200 to fix my puppy's leg. I got him with a poorly healed broken leg. Orthopedic surgeon was well worth it! Then he had a neuter and gastropexy, after that we got his entropian fixed. Most expensive "free" dog ever. Pricey little 120 lb puppy. ❤️🐾
I feel every penny. Been there. All in my pet health ins has paid 300k since 2015 to end 23. Im very happy hes loved and ok now. We are blessed. Broke af but blessed
We just spent over $1100 on our 9 year old husky, Natasha . A couple months ago, she was very lethargic after a Friday night walk. Emergency vet Saturday. Possible fluid around heart. Needs ultrasound. We wanted our regular vet to see her and took her home. She didn't eat and barely drank the whole weekend. We had to help her stand and she was really unsteady, but was able to go outside. Monday she was a little stronger and we went to our regular vet, he thought it was possibly heat stroke. We limited her activity and outside time for about 10 days, then slowly started her daily dog park routine. She's her normal self now.
The kid with the spider makes me think if "DELTA FORCE did pre school" he was bending its fangs and shit, I was feeling violated on that spiders behalf!! Bruh at least tell her yo name!! 🤣
Re: most expensive vet bill: I just spent $380-ish dollars on my male Cattle Dog just to confirm that he's partially torn his knee ligament. If I can't keep him calm and relatively still until it callouses over (we've got, like, 2.5 weeks left), he could need a $5-7,000 surgery. And it's not like he's ancient, he's only 7 or 8 and could live another 7 years. So surgery it is, I guess.
I have a feral cat I took in, it had flea probs and a skin infection. Emrrgency visit was $240, they wanted to schedule spay and vaccines so we did. The spay and vaccines cost another $440. Like wtf? $660 on a cat that ain't even mine
Most expensive vet bill I've gotten is when my desert dumped pitbull/rottie mix Blazer got bladder stones and the first vet I took him to couldn't get a catheter in him and suggested we put him down because there was nothing he could do because it had been 48 hours since he last urinated, and he was in pain. So, I said F that and paid him 480 dollars for the xrays and the visit and took him to the best rated vet in Tucson and they got a catheter in him and gave him enough time to get to surgery and removed the bladder stones thus saving my pup and it cost me 5800 dollars once everything was said and done but honestly you can't put a price on your loved ones because I went from thinking I'm going to lose my best friend to hey he's coming home tomorrow
The kid holding the spider is brazilian. He lives in the countryside, so he is probably used to seeing things like that. In the video he is explaining about the spider's fangs, even using the correct term for it.
I remember watching the story about that little boy that had the knife chasing people was actually protecting his grandma or somthing like that. Basically something was going down and they were helpless and so that little boy, as young as he was, stepped up to try and protect them.
Cat with separation anxiety issues. Kenneled him while i was on a trip, he said f that, I'm never going to pee again. Catheterization to drain his bladder-twice- 3500. His brother broke a hip & cost me 2k. Most expensive free stray cats ive ever had lol.
You’re a good person for caring for them despite the cost, I’ve seen too many who give up their cats or dogs over something like that and I will never understand how they can give up a friend like that.
@@tsfbaf303 thank you. Once i get a pet, it's for life. The two boys are 14 this year. The hip issue was 2013, urination was 2017 but they're still making me happy every day. One is currently wrapped around my head sleeping.
When my bird dog (Brittany) was 8 months old she ate a small lava rock the night before thanksgiving when she was in the backyard. Didn’t realize that she did something stupid until around noon on thanksgiving when she didn’t eat any turkey. Took her to the vet for a diagnostics and she needed surgery in her intestines to remove the blockage. It cost 4200 in total.
Had to fork over 1k on my 18th birthday because my dog impaled himself with a stick. When the vet asked what my birthday plans were I legit laughed and said "you're looking at my plans rn"
the most expensive single visit was roughly $1300. but there have been more than a few that were $1000. all told, between my previous and current dog, i've spent an easy $8000 on vet bills. teeth cleaning? $500 a year. ear infection? $500 each time. some weird growth that needs removed? $1000. broken tooth? $1000x2. that shit adds up quick.
My cat is anemic, while I was deployed my wife took it to the vet for an emergency blood transfusion. Saved the cat, cost me 3 grand. The cat is still alive today, love that cat. Better live for another 10 years.
I didn't have an expense bill for a pet, but I used to work for a pet cemetery and I got paid to dead lift, basically I had a route and I would got the pet clinics and pick up the pets that were put down.
My most expensive vet bill? $4000. Irony alert: it was to treat my basset hound who had gastric torsion (“bloat”) who DIED anyway. All the expenses involved-including cremation-ended up costing a little over $4000.
the most expensive vet visit i had was when i had to get my 9 month old puppy cremated after he died in his sleep while we were sleeping (he was laying in my bed when he passed)....... it cost like 400 dollars to get him cremated.
