This is a common 5th wheel layout. The high gloss paint in the interior is a horrible look, to me. The window cornice board/valences are straight out of the 70’s. Honestly, I would rather have another brand. I know this is good quality but it’s ugly.
If only we could get a exterior without the outdated swoosh/tribal paint jobs.

Everything about those window valances/cornice boards and trim screams 1980s at its height of tacky. Something with classic moldings and details would have been truly elegant.

We've been to their plant for a tour. These 5th wheels are really built well and he should be proud of the RVs they put out!
It makes it very easy to sell when you are truly proud and believe in your product. Becomes more of a conversation, not convincing someone or trying to justify the price.
These rigs are built across the road from my office. This is a real solid trailer. And a great company!

We own Vilano made by Van Leigh. It was so wonderful and the service at their plant is like no other. We loved Tiffin so much that we bought A Tiffin Bus motorhome. We will always remain a Tiffin rv / motorhome owner. They are the best.

@@johnnieanddebbievazquez7408 that’s what I was wondering. Where all can these be parked? If you wanted to live in it and didn’t work remotely or already have land then is an rv park the only option? What about national parks? I’ve heard of people moving their rvs around to different national parks but I haven’t done a lot of research about it. If it has a generator and water tanks then I don’t think you would need to pay for water and electric everyday. Some of the places I’ve looked at says they charge $15 a day without water and electric. That’s around $450 a month plus loan for rv and insurance. Might be a cheaper option if renting is over $1500 a month that doesn’t go towards owning anything.

I got paint and redid all my cabinets...its not tiffan, but its mine and paid for.....now it has no more ugly cabinets of wood and I can change the colour any time I want.....but this is a beautiful unit for sure....
Loved your comment!!!!!/ observation this is a chronic issue with rv / fifth wheels we've been looking for over a year now And can't seem to find a modern contemporary home that's not custom and/or way expensive, I don't really know why this is but almost all of them are beige brown colors and brown oak cabinets I don't know why this is if anybody can fill me in please do!! As far as this one I would have chose stainless appliances what do you think?

I'd never heard of Van Leigh RVs until I received the alert on my phone, JD. Another option....a very, very, nice option. I love seeing products like this where they took a fairly conventional floorplan and brainstormed about how they could make it better.
Van and his son Leigh both kicked for Alabama. The grandfather started this business and now the son and grand son run it.
The fact I just got this exact model last week makes me love this video more

We love our Tiffin. We have had it almost 7 years now and we still love it if we decide to make a change it will be another Tiffin.

Without a doubt this is the most beautiful 5th wheel I’ve ever seen, albeit way out of my price range. I have a brand new Grand Design 5th wheel that is nice and big enough at 36 feet. But wow, this one blows me away. Thanks for sharing it.
We have a 2019 Vilano 375FL and love it. The customer service at VanLeigh is second to nobody.

This brand of trailer is probably what we will purchase
They were beautiful units and it looks like they are better than they were when we looked at them
There was even a couple that purchased a unit at the show that had a truck that wasn’t enough for the trailer
They knew before the show where a dealership for trucks lined up to help with that problem
I was truly amazed at what they were doing over and above all the others

Too much bling bling for me, guess i'm more basic with interior design. Give me a couch that faces the TV and quiet AC and i'm happy. I wish VanLeigh, Luxe and DRV made a mini toy hauler like the Grand Design 376TH, that would be perfect.

My wife and I have looked at over one hundred fifth wheel camper and this one is absolutely the best that I have seen. We want one just like this, now we have to figure out if we can get one that we can afford and if we can live in it.we don't want another house or mobile home.ever.

As long as there aren't any engineers watching, yes. "Quality" is a very relative term in the RV industry. It is usually synonymous with phrases like, "aesthetically pleasing" and "value-driven" (profitably cheap to build). These are snowbird rigs, not homes, and that should be made clear.
No they ACTUALLY they paint all of their unit's in Iowa at a place called CDI and it's not very good paint quality 👎

Exactly. This is the most important thing and very few videos ever show a truly overview of the whole area so one has even a clue with one is interested. It doesn't make sense that there's so much damn detail that no one has interest in unless you've seen the whole thing and recognized your interest to live in it. I'm not sold. The price though is also too high.
I agree, beautiful rig but never saw both ends. What was to the left of kitchen wasn't gone over as much as I would have liked. The living room per say, the large tv and what room was on that end. Was there additional sleeping quarters meaning chairs or tables that lay flat for a bed??? I missed something I guess. Very nice, but it is a house on wheels. Tow it to your destination and stay there.
Very nice. I am wondering where you would take it should you need some warranty service. Do I have to drive a thousand miles or more? And one complaint. It's going to be the Dickens to change sheets on that mattress. We had a Jayco Eagle that was walk around on both sides to the top of the mattress. No more difficult to change sheets then in our homes bedroom

Since I've gotten interested in campers I've noticed three types of salesmen. There's the kind that literally only read specs off a sheet and point at featured. There's this guy, who are masters at communicating the brand and craftsmanship. And then there's the kind that paints an image in your head that says life would only be good with this product.

Chuck Mittan My wife and I just ordered The Luxe 44FL. The things I do like about this model is abundance of outside storage as well as the electronic dumping valves. What I don’t care for at all I’d the bed sunken into the slide so far you can’t make it or even reach for your water when you’re in it.

That’s one of the nicest 5th wheels I have seen .Most are ok as with our Excel ,you guys definitely took it to another level.
ACTUALLY allot of other mfg ACTUALLY do the same thing on there high end product...22 ga backers....storage doors....ACTUALLY allot of mfg already make there own cabinets....ACTUALLY has allot of the features every other 5th wheel has....ACTUALLY everybody does the A/C race track now

6:40 maybe the newest of campgrounds but 99% of all the older camp grounds have the power way at the front... That's across canada and all the lower/north states on the way back... I doubt they really looked into it more then hey this is a good spot for it.

Hand laid this, custom made that, hand crafted whatever...oh, and we picked up this shower at Lowe’s on clearance.

Are you implying that there is nothing in between white plastic and tile? I don’t think adding a couple hundred pounds to a 20,000# 5th wheel would be a problem. The problem is that RV walls move, flex and vibrate.
These days, there is a ton of quality synthetic surfaces to choose from. Many of which would be the same weight or negligibly more.

Maybe you should contact the manufacturer yourself and ask them.

Beautiful inside and out! Having full-timed 6-years 100,000 miles plus, 256 RV Parks..... two things.... 30' power cord will "come up short" all too often. The bed will be extremely hard to make as it is tight to the wall on both sides and inset about 3 feet towards the head... try putting on a fitted sheet... try tucking in the bedspread towards the head of the bed. Just my 2-cents. Great Video for sure!!!
Yep and the rubber roof on a rig this nice is insane. Should be fiberglass like most high end 5ers.

I’m sitting next to a cedar creek right now that has a fiberglass roof and I know Redwood 5ers have a fiberglass roof. Those Redwoods make these rvs look cheap!
