Agreed, i have paid the price of conformity, to fit in, to be accepted, to be more like "them" its left me needy, unsure, abandoned - after much digging, I'm full circle back to where i found my strength, back to God, the security of love from God, the role love plays in my world, seeking or accepting "human" love is always going to leave you feeling empty, its ok as a quick dopamine, but its not a replacement for God, I rarely find peace from human love I learn this at 49
