Amazing. Thank you! First month learning the piano and I'm slowly getting there. Can't wait to try this out. Thanks for the cheat sheets! I like the videos where I can see you talking to us in the right hand corner before the lesson/during the lesson. Might sound silly but it just makes it a little more personable I suppose. Thanks again!!

You make sound easy for people don’t have hands skills like you do, I being having hard time play never ending story that take me 3 days only learn basic on song not fully
The Left Hand Pattern is one of the best to learn for beginners.
brilliant!
Thanks a lot Roderick
Nice one! 👍🇳🇿
Felt like an infomercial. A fun and entertaining one that also instead of trying to sell you something, tries to passionately teach you how to play piano. Great job, great vid, keep up the good work!
thats b.s. bro. His hand can cover C to C from Thumb to pink. What about small hANDED AND FEMALE PLAYERS?
@@solomoncody7951 there are pianos and keyboards with slim/smaller keys. I have a regular sized one and a small keys one for my 10yo son, no issues there.
Bruh I can are ready play it so goody 😎

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video! 🎹
First week and I’m working on four rhymes
Awesome to hear Archie!!
Im on day one of following your tutorials I just wanna say Before this excercise *or any for that matter* stretch your wrists and fingers a bit. Ive been doing just this one video tutorial for about two hours and streching my pinky and thumb to both the C keys at the same time is a bit rough and wish I had stretched my hands first before jumping in.
Aside from that Im surprised how fast Im picking it up, just got a Yamaha dgx670 yesterday and Im super happy to start playing piano again and plan on using your vids as a guide, Cheers!
I find it interesting that the only song I ever "learned" on piano when I was younger was Canon and I feel like I had some sort of foresight in this regard. I loved Alfo Medias vid "Hidden Genius of 'Hook' by Blues Traveler" All relevent here considering it took me weeks to learn the basics of the chords but today I refreshed in like 3 hours LOL
This is sooo awesome...the pattrn from frame 4:13 sounds alot like John Carpenters Halloween Theme 😆😆
Thanks so much Ben, glad you enjoyed it
I know some inversions so I use them when playing the CGAmF progression in this lesson. Am I creating a problem for myself later on?
NICE DEAR TEACHER
It's my pleasure, thank you 🔥
Zach I really want to learn to play real good so I can play for my church
Nice and easy to learn ❤
Glad you liked it :)
Thanks, it's so amazing, and the firts song sound like the song of geometry dash, is that song?
For the sections for it usually goes like
Intro
Verse 1
Pre-Chorus
Chorus
Verse 2
Pre-Chorus
Chorus
Bridge
Chorus
Outro
The romantic song part almost sounds like "With or without you" by U2
Yea very similar good ear!
I am 12 you are helping me to play keyboard 🎹🎉
That’s awesome, keep up the great work! 🎹
Cool 😎 dud
I just got yesterday 🎹I tried but it very hard for me .
Hey Zach I feel like I struggle with jumps when I play. Im practicing a song called Ghost of Tsushima: the way of the ghost
in some parts have like medium jumps. So I tend to struggle on playing piano when I’m playing to parts in the song while moving my hands.. it’s pretty tough.
I honestly get frustrated with it and I tend Two give up and just put the piano away. I also suck with the sheet music I tried to practice it but it was taking forever for me to learn and to just have fun with the melodies
So I just do what my brain can handle watch RUclips tutorials in to see if that would help me.
And there’s songs well a lot of songs that I like but half of them big jumps on the left hand while on your right hand you’re playing entirely different part as well
and it’s like I don’t know where to keep my eyes at because when I play I have to hurry up and look at the left hand to see where my hand lands and I have to look at my right hand to to see where that’s playing to otherwise I’ll just mess up
For someone like me I’ve definitely been playing piano for like 11 to 12 years and I feel like I still suck :( but I could definitely play some songs it’s just the difficulty that gets to me and frustrates me
Yea large leaps can be tough - there ARE specific ways to practice them though - this video should help ya out: ruclips.net/video/COxIFM-ObPs/видео.html
Look up "The Entertainer" tutorial on youtube, there are several out there. Practice the left hand rhythm daily, which contains a lot of difficult jumps from a single bass note to a triad chord. That song has several interesting chords in the left hand that are challenging to hit right on the jump, and demand practice, which is what you should do every day without exception. Also you will be using the sustain pedal for the bass notes and that will develop your foot control also. Don't overthink it, this is simple muscle memory and will develop with time and practice. After you get the left hand part of the song down, add the right hand melody part, also very challenging but well worth the effort in the end with your left and right hands together, along with your foot. The beat is syncopated (just some of it) and that is difficult too and worth learning. Use your eyes for the left hand rhythm and jumps, and don't look at your right hand at all. It took me one year to play that song decently, so if I can do it, then so can you! Since it's a difficult song, once you learn it, all pop music songs will be very easy to learn and will seem basic to you. So keep at it! It's worth it!
JayWiseOne I'm surprised you have been playing piano 11 to 12 years and is having the problem you describe. That has to be a typo. Even after 5 years of playing piano the average person can play well enough to play keyboards with a band. Did you mean 11 to 12 months?
@@exoressdelivers70 I had the piano that long it’s just I haven’t play it all day like everyone else does there’s times I wanna play then there’s times I don’t wanna play.. I feel usually lazy in I play my game a lot lol
How do I get the cheat sheet
How do l download the cheat sheet?
4:00
Him: romantic cords
Me: Mike Meyers?👀
I don’t see the link to the cheat sheets when I select download I’m asked to pay for youtube to download
Terimakasih.. i say in indonesia the meaning is thank you 🙂
Thanks Nikolas. Glad you liked the video! 🎹
My left hand's wrist starts to hurt after a while. My guess because i have to spread my fingers quite a lot. Are there some useful exercises or do I do something wrong (my hand's size is middle).
I can't even play the 3 notes, my hand is too small
Try to keep your wrist relaxed when you play. When you "hit" the note you'll have to have some tension to press the notes down, but try to release RIGHT after and that should help. Also take a break if you've been practicing a while and work the right hand stuff
I know notes which part of training i take
Zack... I bought my 9 y.o. daughter a keyboard for Christmas. I am learning so I can help her to learn, and found your videos. We are now following your lessons. My problem: My left-hand pinky finger is pretty much no good anymore (surgery didn't fix it). Please, I can play CG (RIGHT hand, your video above) and find it easy (thanks to you!). But I cannot play the CGC with the LEFT hand (pinky won't reach). This will be an ongoing issue for me. How shall I compensate? Reverse the parts? (Play the CGC with right hand, and CG with left? Or?) Please make a suggestion that I can use "as a rule" in my case. THANK YOU!!! Paul and Maggie May (Sorry, I don't have facebook nor instagram.)
I'm subscribing just for the channel name 🤗
Thank you for the lesson! Really enjoying your tutorials. Your romantic song sounds like a pretty version of the Halloween theme song.
Simplified! Beginners, you need just your feet and a keyboard to play this😄😄
This hurts my hands though... mine are too small to reach all the keys comfortably, any tips?
Exactly same with me🤔
What if you get it the first day? 😮
I am totally blind could you please provide the notes that you are playing on this? I’m talking about for each finger placement. Also, have you thought about putting together any exercises to help the blind, those of us who cannot see, how to get more out of the piano. I am a beginner.
4:10 how to play romantic song in halloween
3:41 sounds like stereo madness lol
You gave there a Indian musical tune😜
Yea a little bit haha
Thanks for teaching free lessons , I enjoyed your videos, it’s just some parts you talked and moved so fast , I couldn’t catch up with it 😀
Two
Woohoo!
I don't have the reach because I have small hands.
Same 🥲
All good, just leave the top note in your left hand out and it'll still sound good. Play the other two with pinkie thumb
@@becomeapianosuperhuman6765 Thanks! I just got a keyboard for Christmas so I'm looking forward to playing again after not playing since the early 90's.
