Cool video small thing for those starting the C major and F major are actually inversions of the chord you could actually use the same finger “figure” but if it’s easier for you.

Great lesson Zach! I printed out and made flash cards with the close chords sheet & bro it has made is soo easy to learn new songs. I picked up this progression in 2 mins :) & youre absolutely right. Im 4 weeks in and aprpeggios were def. a lot easier to pick up. Now its just practice and increasing speed. Thanks man
I love your videos! Today, I am confused. The chords you are showing in this video, does not match the chords on your downloadable cheat sheet. What am I missing here?
Please make a Become a Guitar Superhuman! I just know you could make a great series for playing guitar that's every bit as amazing as this for piano. Pretty please 🥺
Im a dnb/jungle producer and have bin trying to progress in my melodic sounds, youve shown me and made me understand things easier. Going to do what you said. 15 mins a day. (Prob 30 and drive my neighbours crazy) see were this gets my production. Big ups bro.
To “play the piano” means more than is ever alluded to in most RUclips videos. It means being able to read music. It means knowing the different ways that a chord can be played, including first and second inversions for triads. It means understanding chord progressions and scales for both major and minor. It means finger and hand independence. In other words…..it means much more than being able to sit down and play a song you heard on the radio. That’s all well and good and it’s lots of fun….and hopefully being able to do that sparks your interest in learning the instrument, but being able to play a song does not mean you can “play the piano.” Speaking for myself, I’ve been working on this instrument for three years, and I figure it’s going to be at least another five or six years of additional work before I could look someone in the face and say, “I can play the piano.”
@@SheetFiber That's true..... but I believe that some of the more "click bait" titles used on RUclips mislead unknowing individuals to believe that there is some sort of a 3 or 4 week shortcut from going from no knowledge to being able to "play the piano." That is not meant as any disrespect to this channel or the creator of this channel. It's a general observation for people who may have no idea whatsoever about what is needed to become proficient.
Finally! Zach teaches the "All of Me" rhythm. What's it been 5 years? Eight? since I tried to learn that song and your support person told me "it's hard." Now you show us the easy way. Piano players--I bought the class and it was WORTH IT! I became a better piano player because Zach taught me HOW TO PRACTICE!!! I'm singing a capella now, but I still use the same practice techniques. I'm a satisfied customer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I like the intro song what is it, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for teaching me how to play the piano. Your guidance and patience have been invaluable, and I feel like I have grown so much as a musician under your instruction. Your videos and this in particular helped me in getting rid of a life long blockage I had towards playing music! I used to play flute as a kid and picked up little little piano when I was about 10 and had to drop it after few months cause the neighbours were complaining (back then keyboard was not an option). I was so disappointed at not remembering anything that I never really got into it again. Then my brother gifted a keyboard to my mom, and now I am visiting her I just found your videos and started, this was about a week ago. And I got so good so fast! I can play two Beethoven and started with Nuvole Bianche of Einaudi, just cause I practiced this video so much. Thank you cause you brought magic back in my life!
Can you link the video tutorial that you’re learning for Nuvole Bianche? It’s a favorite of mine, and I’d love to learn it! I am also a beginner and have found these videos extremely helpful, so I recently subscribed.
I will tell you that i learned how to play in about 1 week just from one of his videos. I may not have been great, but I figured out everything I needed, from scratch. Have now played for 15 months and no one can tell. I taught my 8 year old and my 4 year old from just what I knew from the single video I seen of his. They have both been playing now for 14 months (8 yr old) and 10 months (4 year old). We all learned all chords, and can play all inversions fluently. This guy saved me from throwing away a keyboard that was collecting dust for 3 years, just because I didn't understand what to do. With him it was like going from zero-100 instantly. Now I come see his style videos. I have links to my daughter's timed progress so I can show them how well we all have gotten.

So here’s a question I have seen covered much: when you’re playing C-major and G-major, you’re using your thumb, pointer, and ring finger and alternating between them. Does it matter if instead a person were to play C-major with their thumb, middle, and pinkie and then when switching to G-major, play it with their thumb, pointer and ring finger? I mean obviously we can play the keys however we want, but should I be paying attention to which fingers I’m using or develop my own style? I’ve been just freelancing it, and that just occurred to me.
What about those of us who need to be playing the melodies, and who want to play in any key that works for the vocalists, those of us who are the only instrumentalists in the situation? What if we need to sight read well, and also play very well by ear, in any key?
For sure, here are some videos that cover that (those topics are a bit more in depth): Playing Melodies: ruclips.net/video/LsyLh3tpB-0/видео.html Play by Ear: ruclips.net/video/C1u4TWd3nog/видео.html Sight Reading: ruclips.net/video/8lqsJeClVyA/видео.html

I’m confused because In other videos you play the same chords, but these sound different and have different fingerings. Does it matter which ones you play
I've been watching a lot of your videos, and they've been great, but this is the first time I've been confused. These shapes for the C and F chords are different than how I've seen you do them up to now, because you're shifting the octave of the G and F, respectively. I understand that it's still the same chord, but I'm not understanding the "why" behind deciding for instance when to play a C major as GCE instead of CEG. Is this the same as just deciding to move from octave to octave just because it sounds better, or is there more to it than that?
So that's called a chord "Inversion". So basically, a C Major chord is the notes C E G on the keyboard. But you can put those notes in any order, and it's still considered a C chord. So C E G and E G C and G E C are all C Major chords, theyre just in different inversions. We use different inversions so we don't have to move our hand all over the keyboard, we can keep it nice and close. Hope that makes sense!

Ask my question again as I typed it wrong yesterday. A C major is C E G. But you have the C chord starting with G. I thought major chords the root is the first note the note of the chord. How can C major start with G? Confusing
Root chords start on the chord name. For 3-note chords, there are two more ways to play the chord, called inversions. They are used for ease of playing and a smoother transition. Prove this to yourself: play the progression (c-g-amin-f) using the root chords. Now play the progression using these inversions. Big difference. Same chords, just built in a different order.
