i hear ya that you may not be a fan of catfish, but thats because its a muddy tasing fish. so, i discovered “heartland catfish”.. its farm raised, yes, but not like the other nasty farm raised. i looked into them, ordered some, it was the best most fresh smelling almost sweet, super tender meat. they mail it to my door via their distributer. its more affordable than from heartland catfish themself. give it a try. i just got another order in today, and i live in va. it came frozen in a nicely packed cooler.

2:02 - me again, dont forget, you all, to check the catfish nuggets for rib bones. they are often in those as they are right off the rib area of the fish. so, just feel for them, cut them out and its much safer to eat.. wait, on 2nd look, it appears they are from the main filets and not the thinner darker area of the ribs? did they just cut them small and call them nuggets? usually, that means from the belly rib area, its considered a cheaper cut. either way, looks great .. now, back to the video. :-)

Where did you get the cooling racks/pan sets shown in your video - the copper/orangish ones shown that you placed the breaded nuggets on and shown at 4:59? They are not shown in your gadgets/kitchen ware lists you have pointing to Amazon.

That Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning is bomb though! We use it when we grill our smoked salmon. Your seasoning blend for these Cajun catfish nuggets is on point! They came out amazing! These would go great with my steamed Cajun crawfish tonight! Thanks for sharing your recipe! ~JT

@@AllWingsEverything there's a blood line that runs down the middle of fillets. If it's discolored or red, cut that out too. It will taste muddy. I usually will soak catfish in milk for at least 20 minutes. It gives it a cleaner taste
