I love this video because i am going on a school trip to disneyland paris from london so this helps me a bit with how we are going to get there also my first time going on a ferry.
Love going over to France by P&O it's a great experience and traveling through the night is the best way if you have a 6 to 9 hour drive from when you get to calis
Excellent! I have been on a ferry before, but I haven't done Dover/Calais, so "being in the car" with you makes it all seem easy. Was that a Peugeot you were driving?
Stena is cheaper and in my opinion, better than P&O. I used to be a truck driver contracted to P&O Ferrymasters, and we were normally routed either Stena or Sea France, because they were cheaper, so reserving the more expensive berths for fare paying passengers. Funnily enough I have never been on the ferry in a car, lost count of how many crossings in a truck.
Considering all the Van rental, Ferry and parking fees plus gas, Would you say driving from London to Paris is cheaper than air or train travel? We're 8 and I've been asking around how to save money. Thank you?
Although you asked 1 year ago I'd answer it anyways: considering that you are 8 it is significantly cheaper to go by car, either taking the tunnel or the ferry (I recommend the tunnel, its way faster, and even cheaper) than to fly. Actually I think you can make your trip by car from half the money you would spend on plane tickets, not to mention car rental (or "oysters" for public transport). Charles De Gaulle Airport is god damn far from Paris, though it's part of the city officially as far as I know...
I’m in France (Calais 6) I’ve been waiting for the ferry to come for 3 hours due to really bad weather, And they told us that we have to use a Euro train tunnel and i’m kinda nervous for some reason 😂
Hi folks. I got a question. When you leave the UK by ferry to France, do you get your passport stamped, or the exit gets registered in the software automatically, just like happens with the airlines?
While the UK is in the EU they'll never stamp an EU passport but that may change once we leave the EU depending on what kind of visa requirements they'll be.
You must have with you documents for you car , driving licence , and insurance which is covered Europe (check it with your UK insurance provider) Also! If you travel via France make shure that you have spare bulbs for your car, high visible vest, breathalyser etc.... (Find out on Internet about driving an UK car in France ) Don't forget about recovery cover too! Check it with AA
That seems strange to me. How would us foreigners know that. I guess we have to ask as we enter each country. Is the Brexit going to make a difference in the border crossings?
I have to go very soon to the UK but do not feel great because of driving left. Have been several times in the UK, Australia and more countries but never driven myself in leftside countries. Want to go for buying a lot of fishing gear which is much cheaper in the UK compared with Holland and they do not send fishingrods because of the length. Have to drive a few hundred km in the UK. Have to try it once.
30-40 minutes, depending on time, Month, Peak/Of-peak, departure date (earlier booking = cheaper) and Fast lane/Standard. Personally I went in Christmas which was most expensive @ £175+£110 (Return/ Fully Flex/3 Adults, 2 Children) Cheapest was during September-November time, was only £60+£35 (Return/ Standard/2 Adults, 3 Children)
+christopher gemmel The lyrics websites I visited say it was written by Alexander Perls. If you're so sure you know better, why don't you actually tell us who actually wrote it instead of getting on my case? Better yet, why didn't you answer the guy's original question to help they him out? At least I was trying to help him.
I’m going to Paris with my school and it’s a really long drive -5 hours to Dover then we get on a ferry and we’re going to school to meet at midnight 😂
Just like many "right-siders" can drive on the left too :) for me it took like 3 turns to the right and a roundabout to get used to it. Actually getting off either the ferry or the train is the trickiest part, gotta force yourself to watch which lanes you are using since you just jumped to a totally different driving habit. The lane systems are getting better and safer with every year, and today are pretty obvious, but the first turns can actually trick you. Damn I almost got a heart attack when after 2000 kms in Europe I went to England and at the first turn from the CT I almost took a bad curve and went straight up against the oncoming traffic... Luckily my *youidiot sense* started tingling.
I love this video because i am going on a school trip to disneyland paris from london so this helps me a bit with how we are going to get there also my first time going on a ferry.

How long does the ferry ride take! And then how long to Paris from there?
I don't remember . I think it's about 2 hours. And the 3 hours on motorway to Paris
very cool video..keep em coming!
I couldn't do that, I have a fear of boats. The longest time I've been on a boat is 10 minutes and I was so scared.
Is the charge on a Ferry by car or person?
what ferry was it called best vidio ever
I’m in France (Calais 6) I’ve been waiting for the ferry to come for 3 hours due to really bad weather, And they told us that we have to use a Euro train tunnel and i’m kinda nervous for some reason 😂
Nice song. Who is the singer?
Hi folks. I got a question. When you leave the UK by ferry to France, do you get your passport stamped, or the exit gets registered in the software automatically, just like happens with the airlines?
Jose Naranjo You will not get a stamp in your passport
UraFlight thanks very much. You're very kind! Pura vida!
While the UK is in the EU they'll never stamp an EU passport but that may change once we leave the EU depending on what kind of visa requirements they'll be.
How many levels are on the ferry. Looks like a lot of stairs. I would have liked to see more inside.
Theres 2 floors for cars and 1 level for people. Including a cafe etc. And it has escalators and lifts. My friends mum works on there
Thank You
What about the driver side position .. Left ti right side
Anyone known that???????
Any issue in Paris for London driver position????
I had no issues with that , Just keep in your mind ALWAYS KEEP RIGHT
Merci beaucoup je ne suis jamais allée magnifique Martine Gérardmer France
It's cool how when you entered france there was a horde of british cars and then into paris they are all gone
But don’t they drive on opposite sides ?
Hi. I've been to Paris twice by coach and the ship is the best way to go. P&O are quite good and I'm booking up to go again
Hello, driving in Europe with UK plates, what documents do you need in case of a control on the car? Thanks

Why do you need breathalyser
You need breathalyser because the french law says you must have one in your car :)
JOH TOR You'll be okay. Just always keep left on the road
How much time it takes to cross ?

But how English people drive in France, France Driving Side is totally different from English driving style
They are used to drive on the right side in the continent. They are good drivers.

It's easier driving a right hand drive in Europe than a left hand I've found
I'm English u don't understand
Nice one well showed
