I love how in just 5 min you get a perfect representation of two sides of the same coin N’Jobu wants to help the world but in a bad way he literally says
“We could give them the weapons that they could use to overthrow these governments and then Wakanda could rule them! The right way!”
That’s not freedom that’s Tyranny T’Chaka is not the king of every black person
He is the king of Wakanda he must look after HIS people and you can’t just justify a world wide racial war because of social injustice
While T’Chaka was always reserved he never intervened in the world or its problems he never aided anyone in wars or helped the poor across the world he just sat by and did...nothing
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”-Edmund Burke
You see that they are both sides of the same coin
One wants extreme action to be taken
One doesn’t want any action to be taken..
and then this of course leads to T’Challa and Killmongers conflict Killmonger wants the same as his father but with more imperialism he even says later in the film that the sun will never set on the Wakandan empire
WHILE T’Challa started out like his father but grew to realize IT WAS WRONG
You cannot just stand by as the world burns and tears itself apart BUT at the same time you cannot just go and conquer everyone to bring about equality
T’Challa is neither one side of the coin or the other but by the end of the film he is the balance like when you flip the coin and it lands perfectly on its edge.....

Like we had that actress go from ayong a Kree to playing an Eternal. But she was blue skinned as a Kree.
Honestly if Djimon had gone with the blue skin as his character is supposed to have in the comics in the first place, then he could have easily been in Black Panther in some roles.

According to the director, Ryan Coogler,, N'Jobu's wife was arrested and sentenced to prison for life. N'Jobu and "James" (Zuri) were actually planning on breaking his wife out. This also plays heavily into why N'Jobu was radicalized from the hardships the black people faced. That's why we never see Killmonger's mother.

He was angry at his brother for the betrayal, maybe didn't want to deal with the fallout or the council possibly sympathizing with his brother, or being challenged for the throne by him, ect. T’Chaka’s Black Panther suit looks so sick. Love the sash and gold accents.

Irony is that if the world was good and not racist, we wouldn't have a great film and a brilliant antagonist.

Not necessarily, they could have come up with a villain like they do for other characters.
Why must it only be racism that black people have to fight in movies

Murdered his own brother, then left his brothers body for his son to find....& left that son in the hood in Oakland, with nothing but sorrow & hatred....T’Challa said it best, “what kind of a king...what kind of a man...’

The reason Tchaka was ruthless is because he's seen the villains who would destroy Wakanda. Tchaka was a king and diplomat and he's seen The Red Skull, Modok and many others and he knew that if they found out about vibranium then it would be game over.

Maybe not game over but a harder task for Wakanda to stay as prosperous as they’ve been.
