I couldn't bring myself to watch American Idol after Adam. He and his voice made such an impression on me that I remember every song and even the outfits that he wore. And his versions of the songs resonate with me to this day and probably forever. What he did with a Ring of Fire, Mad World, One Love, A Change is Going to Come and everything except for Black and White holds a special space in my brain.
