This man is in another realm when it comes to talent on so many levels. His voice and the way he uses it is unmatched. No, he's not 27 yo skinny Adam, he's a middle aged man who has lived a life being judged. He is still exceptionally handsome and lives his life trying to encourage everyone to accept who they are and live their best life. "Be your own hero". You get that message in so many of his songs. Just stop judging and appreciate his given talents, which are many, especially from his heart.
UPDATE: Have you seen him lately. Looking awesome and slim. Almost looks 27 again! Voice is still incredible and his music is only getting better with age. Still unmatched as far as talent goes.

@@carolhagerty4288 thank you. I cannot describe how irritating it is when someone focuses on his weight instead of the gift he gives us with his incredible talents. I don't think I have ever read a disparaging comment that he has ever said about anyone and he has certainly had plenty of chances and ammunition. It's just not who he is. His graciousness shines in everything he does. What an exceptional human being. His parents must be extremely proud of this unique and beautiful soul they have graced us. Too bad he doesn't get the recognition he so honestly deserves. So disappointed in the Grammys and the Billboard top 100 for not recognizing him. I guess if he was skinny, half naked and nasty, he would be at the top of the charts.

For real! This is how I want to be when I'm middle aged
I kind of interpret it in another way. I am a 19 year old woman paralyzed from the hip down since I am 17. This song is a motivitional booster on the one hand, but on the other hand it teachs me that it does not matter if people accept my half - functional body as long as I do. Recently I came to rehab with this song in my ears and earned some confused looks by singing it quietly to myself and looked up to the top. But than someone said: "You are an Adam Lambert fan? My favourite song is ghosttown." 63 year old dude in a wheelchair, a former biker, pretty cool. And we only united that day cause he regonized the song. We are pretty strange duo, aren't we? A little puppet of a human next to a rocker with tattoos and two heads taller. But people should listen to Adam and never judge what's inside from the outside. So, in conclusion, I not only gained some self confidence but a new friend as well.

We all know he was robbed of the American Idol title, but he showed them. Even after that he still is there for appearances and mentorship of contestants. He is my favorite male Idol.

I keep watching over and over and have for years because he just keeps getting better at EVERYTHING!! I'm soon to be 72 and I still love my rock, but never the "top 40" kind, always a little more edgy and even his ballads are FANTASTIC and I need my daily doses of ALL of these recent songs! I am right there with you. I am a 68-year-old woman and have enjoyed Adam Lambert from his days on American idol. He is absolutely brilliant in everything he does. If you have not heard him sing, "Believe" as a tribute to Cher. You ought to look that up and catch it. It is beyond amazing.
After all of Adams's success in everything he did from dropping successful albums to touring with Quee, to being on glee and outselling by 1000xs the winner of American idol I wonder if the judges regret their life choices.
His style, texture, and tone are iconic and you can pick his voice out almost instantly. It's awesome to hear him sing.

Adam Lambert does a fantastic job with Roger and Brian keeping the magic of Queen alive. He sings those songs as well as Freddie and that is the best respect he can give to Freddie. This song is fabulous too. What an interpretation of that classic Bonnie Tyler hit from the 80’s. Live the groove this song carries and the edginess of it.
Actually, Freddie sang more falsetto (mostly on stage not so much on albums) than Adam sings. Of course Adam can sing falsetto too, but not so much. Freddie also did more genres that Adam has done by now, but I sure hope he one day do more. Mostly 'cos he can do the Queen widely and that x-mas song with Darren Criss showed that Adam can do much more than sync pop / dance songs. Repeating itself can be great way to make money, but can be boring at the long run if it is repeated like 30-60 years.

I waited until today to give this a listen. It's the 5th anniversary of a friend's death, and she loved your music. YES!! I've heard a few of Adam's presentations of this number, and THIS ONE hits the mark. This is the genre in which Adam has no peer; full-court-press, no-holds-barred, pure drama and passion. From his full volume "YEAH!!" to the last head toss of defiance, this is pure Adam. That voice never fails to attract and hold spell-bound.
Initially, I thought your were robbed for not winning American Idol. In all honesty if you had won you would have stifled with too many rules.
Instead, you were allowed to be you, and express music in your own (and very gifted) way.

I have never heard another Baritone with such rich notes, except my voice teacher(who should have been a superstar, but was happy to teach). So sad when those iconic voices are gone.
