At work one of the employees was playing music and I instantly recognized it as this. He had no idea what it was, he just had Spotify on random. I said "I know Little V when I hear it" and he goes "who?"
I was both happy to hear Little V getting that type of random exposure, and hurt because this cover is too good to not make you wonder who's doing it.

I stumbled across this song on Spotify a couple of weeks ago and IMMEDIATEY put it in my playlist for my (Vampire) Paladin character from D&D. Basically, he was turned into a vampire and decided to be almost like an undead Punisher. Hunting anything that preys on innocents even though he himself is damned as well.

Separated from the others by the Fairy Godmother, a depressed Shrek comes upon Rock Howard, looking up to what is later revealed to be Mt. Fuji.
They look at each other, completely bewildered, but not so much that they lose sight of their targets.

The Boss steps up from behind them, steeling himself for a fight.
And then, Johnny Five.
The four of them race up Mt.Fuji, where the Fairy Godmother is waiting, God Rugal as her guard. The music plays, and we are treated to an epic battle.
There is damage done on both sides, but the four of them emerge victorious, Akuma taking over Rugal's body, taking the Godmother's magic wand and sending Shrek, Boss, and Johnny back to their universes before disappearing into the night.
At the end of it all, Rock has only one question.
"What the fuck just happened?"

This version is just BETTER. But the SR3 use of it was perfect. Much like their use of other classic 80s music in the climax of SR4.
