Looks great and well made, the only slight suggestion i'd do if i were building it would be to paint the underside/sides of it black so when it's closed it really blends in other than the board and maybe look into giving the top a "brushed" finish so that any scratches and marks it gets through use don't show up too much.
Honestly, wow. I’m super impressed with how clean you managed it. The magnets and parachord making it so easy and soft is such a great idea as well. 10/10
I found your channel back when you first started the wish part series with the civic. I've watched every video since then, truly enjoy your content. It informative, entertaining and exciting to see all your journeys with every vehicle you've purchased so far. Stay Committed! This was a super clean setup and dope build as well, loving the jeep so far.
I gotta say, if you stick with the wood cutting board, you might consider staining it dark dark. That way its not like black jeep plastic, black paracord, black metal, and then light tan wood
robbie, for the grill/stove and the plastic issue that you addressed at the end. you should get some heat resistant cloth that can just lay over the plastic part while you cook but then can be removed to clean and what not.
Started following just for the Jeep build so I don’t know your previous work, so I was very surprised at how nice and clean that turned out. Well done. Now as a former science teacher we need to talk about weight distribution….
Brooo, That is actually sick! Good job on the diy man I was just saying to my homie I’d love to do more fabrication stuff. Like you have an idea and you just have at it man I love it.
Would highly recommend cutting a hole in the cutting board or the metal holder! 1. Good for a little cup holder if you need it. 2. If you’re cutting and need to dump trash, you can put a trash bag under it and just slide the trash through it!
I just bought an 04 liberty as my work “truck” because I don’t want to dirty my other car and seeing these videos makes me want to do something to it to make it less boring😂😂
Sweeeeeet table, maybe this isn’t the style but I think some paracord weaves for the string support would be cool. Also maybe some spray paint on the bottom? Either way supper cool DIY table, see you next vid Robbie 🤙
What a great job and very well done too! Side Note: Have you ever thought about Anodizing your aluminum projects? If you Hard Anodized all that aluminum (Type III Class 2 - Black) - That would look even more amazing than it already does, offer some abrasion/scratch resistants' and really look great when tucked up.
Hey man, love the channel! Just recently started watching, but i love the videos. First video i seen was the epoxy floors in the garage and just loved the set up. Would love to have something like it someday! Keep doin what your doing and #StayCommitted !
Looking good man! I just went out and finally get myself a JK I had been wanting one for awhile so I sold one of my cars and put in some extra hours so I could get it! Can’t wait to start overlanding! Maybe some day I make my way north to Canada and we ride some trails together
Use wire instead of Paracord. Paracord will stretch. You can pull the guts out of the paracord and sleeve the wire to cut down on noise. looks clean though.
Hey Robbie, It might be a good idea to add some anti-seize in the hole on the tailgate where you drilled into. There is a lot of moisture and I wouldn't want to see that get all rusty. But as all ways, solid job and the jeep is looking fire!
Dude, that is so cool. But as you said might melt the plastic, Im sure you can come up with something to make the whole thing slide forward more. A slider like keyboard trays on tables maybe. Idk. Im just talking outta my a@@. But im sure you’ll figure it out! Killer job man! 🖤
You could probably just do a double square knot for good measure on that paracord. Also, you can try braiding your paracord to make it look a bit cooler if you don’t really like the look of the single strand. Also, if you braid the paracord then you’ll have extra paracord if you ever need it while you’re out off-roading and stuff
Actually clean AF! i really want to get a 4x4 to build a camper rig. Damn shame i would have to sell my kiddneys etc. to have a decent 4x4 in Finland :D

Same, i was expecting him to paint or stain the wood
Or maybe a sheet of abs plastic with a rough texture so it blend with the rest.
Even would be nice to put a piece of aluminum on the bottom side so when it's closed you don't see the wood
너도 멋지고
Another great video! You could use some sheet steel that sticks to the magnets as a temp heat shield/backsplash/splatter guard for cooking.
This has to honestly be the best built DIY table anyone has done. Its actually so sick!!! Will be using this for inspo on my JK
Honestly, wow. I’m super impressed with how clean you managed it. The magnets and parachord making it so easy and soft is such a great idea as well. 10/10
I'm back lol so. Glad you started posting vids again we will always watch

7:10 - When your wood wants to get up it’s the rubbers that always ruin it.
Sorry. I’ll see myself out. Lol
saw the instagram story and have been waiting for the video to drop ever since!
The way the song and die grinder sync up at 18:37 is crazy
Best tailgate table DIY i've seen, I did something similar today for my Bronco
Im planning on buying a bronco, so almost every jeep video is inspiration for my future build
Soooooo cooooool to see Robbie again!
Glad your still around last time I heard from you was back when you finished the turbo EG Civic
Crazy clean build.
Unbelievably clean install man! Love the use of magnets. Loved the video!
This came out fricking awesome.
It’s always great to watch robbie’s videos during a midnight snack🍃😄
Awesome DiY upgrade. I need to do this to my JL.
Solid idea. The Wrangler is so versatile, but limited on storage compared to a few other vehicles.
Great tray and outstanding work Thanks
That’s the coolest thing ever! 😂 I love how clean it came out 👌 you should put a black plastic sheet on the bottom so it blends in when it’s folded up
thats actually surprisingly clean!!
love when you make your own stuff! keep the vids coming bro! appreciate you!
Very nice craftsmanship and design!
Bro, that looks amazing, really great figment
Really nice job on this! I could see a company getting on touch to get measurements to mass produce that design.
jajajajajajaja
I have the rough country tailgate table and honestly the damn thing is super solid.
you should invest in a leaf blower for winter/snow days - i did myself a couple of weeks back and its extremely easy and so much fun!
I gotta say, if you stick with the wood cutting board, you might consider staining it dark dark. That way its not like black jeep plastic, black paracord, black metal, and then light tan wood
Absolutely love your tailgate table. Trying to create something that works in my car. Fab work, I would be super happy too if my own idea works.
Bowline on either end would work great as a navy member I use the bowline for a ton of lifting and securing
Looks so good! Props. Definitely get a heat shield on that plastic cover for that door tho haha. Amazing job!
Diy tailgate table for jeep jl. Yes sirrr!! And thanks!!
You could add a MOLLE panel to the underside for storage as well... Nice build!
nice video bud clean and simple
Dude you made that so clean!
Should totally wrap the top of that aluminum piece with some contact paper or something so it doesn't get all scratched up
Badass job! i say for the cutting board, cut like a slot in the bottom of the C-channel and drill a screw through the slot into the cutting board.
Good job man great DIY.
robbie, for the grill/stove and the plastic issue that you addressed at the end. you should get some heat resistant cloth that can just lay over the plastic part while you cook but then can be removed to clean and what not.
He uses an outside grill the lid is the splash guard
Robbie I'm an eagle scout!! You gotta try a tautline hitch on it. It will work amazingly!
damn brother, A+, I think I'll do the same build.
wow .. this is amazingly too clean for a DIY build. great job
Miss these DIY style videos!
Such a great build that I subscribed to see more.
Wow! Love this set up 🙌
Are you done building cars now?
Started following just for the Jeep build so I don’t know your previous work, so I was very surprised at how nice and clean that turned out. Well done.

Awesome job. I like it.

so clean
At the 24.00 mark.
"$30 for the piece wood"
While pointing at the sheet of metal 🤣🤣🤣
Very nicely done
Great job!
*You ALWAYS do excellent work!*
New Robbie video, let’s gooooo
I get this feeling that Robbie just wants to do a Van Life series.
Would highly recommend cutting a hole in the cutting board or the metal holder! 1. Good for a little cup holder if you need it. 2. If you’re cutting and need to dump trash, you can put a trash bag under it and just slide the trash through it!

really nice job
Looks great man. Well done.
Excellent 👌!

You should get a sheet of abs plastic. Make a bottom peace that covers the underneath of the table. So when it's closed it disappears.
You need a gas strut to make the tailgate hold at a 90 degree angle. It will be a blessing when you camp on a decline/incline
This build was fire!🔥
That turned out great!
Amazing vid once again 🔥🔥
Nice build!
yooo looks SICK
Hey man, love the channel! Just recently started watching, but i love the videos. First video i seen was the epoxy floors in the garage and just loved the set up. Would love to have something like it someday! Keep doin what your doing and #StayCommitted !
Super sick! The DIY tailgate table came out super clean, love the idea of building it then going off and buying $150+ accessory lol
Love that he starts the jeep and then checks to make sure it's in neutral! 😂
i mean its a start stop button, you have to put the cluch all the way down, the order doesnt matter in this case
Loving these videos 🔥🔥🔥
That one upside down clip had me rolling ngl
Love this mod!
Lol I'd said "dudddeee" insync with you st 16:16 freaking tactical asf
Looking good man! I just went out and finally get myself a JK I had been wanting one for awhile so I sold one of my cars and put in some extra hours so I could get it! Can’t wait to start overlanding! Maybe some day I make my way north to Canada and we ride some trails together
Nice job
loved this vid bro
That’s 🔥
Love the vids!
Use wire instead of Paracord. Paracord will stretch. You can pull the guts out of the paracord and sleeve the wire to cut down on noise. looks clean though.
You should get a snowmobile and go one a trip with the Jeep and sled!

Sick!!
Spray paint the bottom black so it all blends in. Other than that it’s awesome !!!
Surely we can get a ATV video some time soon!
Add 1 more layer of aluminum, so when you use the burner you can lift it up as back wall to keep it from melting the plastic.
awesome 😎
damnn! you prolly need to paint the metal table to make it look good, but all in all its a banger!
You could attach a single folding leg on the bottom of the wood cutting board
Awesome. When does it go into production?😎👍
you should also take some thin rubber mat and glue it on top of the metal.
Miss the civics
Yeah holy shit do I miss the 2-car garage/ warehouse stuff with all the bodywork, Bondo and paint shenanigans
Where he'd buy a lemon, and turn it into a gem. Now it's "modding this brand new jeep"....
@@santora06 wish parts/ budget build/ a budget I can relate to -> 40,000$ in before parts
Actually clean AF! i really want to get a 4x4 to build a camper rig. Damn shame i would have to sell my kiddneys etc. to have a decent 4x4 in Finland :D
Well now I know what I'll be doing with my jeep
