i just bought one and it was 199.00. love the quality but i notice it rattles when closed. how did you fix that?
Mine hasn't rattled at all. The rattling might be from the entire unit not pressed up against the tailgate securely and not fr the actual table itself. Maybe try adding rubber washers and see if that helps?
Knowing what you know now. Do you feel there is any benefit to using a more ridged template?

great vid and use of the template. Seems that you could leave the wire cover piece on the tailgate and use screw holes further down the table frame. This is if youre using the spacers as you did.Correct??
I believe you could, yeah! But because I had the horrible amazon version before and already drilled out those holes, I wanted to reuse those holes and not punch out more holes. And that version required removing that cover.
@@BaptismOverland got it on reusing the holes. FWIW, using a nutsert tool is so worth the $30. Made that supper easy. Also, big thanks for the template idea. I did mine with cardboard and then taped the spacers to the back of that to get the best approximation of final position. Still had to wallow out the holes a little with a Doemeo on the back panel
Would this fit for a jk that has a subwoofer by the tailgate?
Hmmm not sure. If the sub is in the cargo area, this is pretty slim and won't bump into anything. I mean if you look I have a whole drawer system.
Do you have a sub woofer IN the tailgate?
@@BaptismOverland Thank you for the quick response! yeah there is a subwoofer just right by the tailgate door. looking to purchase this product and just wanting to make sure it fits and I don't have to remove the subwoofer llol

Are there four mounting points.. or are there more? Seems like the hardware bag comes with a lot more pieces…
For the Jeep JK only 4. It comes with a bunch for other applications. For the JL for example you have to put up the mounting bracket which will require more bolts

Did U paint the holes U drilled?
Of course! Used some automotive touch up paint to prevent rusting.
What Rivet Nut Tool did you use?
I did.
I used one I got off amazon. Company called Wetols
These accessories that you can get for your jeep or truck are so darn expensive who can afford them.
I mean I could say the same about a Bugatti but there are people who have them 😂
Really, that can be said about any hobby. It's all relative to each person. Shoot...video gear for me has been SUPER expensive. Hobbies are expensive man. But I WILL always advise people don't buy things that ain't in your budget. That's stupid financial planning. Buy to your level of affordability. Some things I will pay top dollar for because of quality and durability while others, it's Amazon special all day lol
You know what would be sick. If that table comes out have an artist (or DIY) burn your logo into the wood
It's gonna be done. I'm waiting to find someone who has a CNC or laser engraver
