I drove a G90 a few days ago. It feels marginally less capable than my 23 m8 grancoupe. You get that push in a high speed sweeping turn just like the m8, but even more so. This isn’t seen in the F90, especially the m5cs. Honestly is feels so similar to my f96 x6m that I can’t get it out of my head 😂. This G90 will work for those looking for a daily driver that can be seen as a super sports sedan. But I don’t think someone coming from an F90 will be happy with it - I’d recommend someone coming off lease on an F90 to move to a G80 before that too gets ruined by the hybrid setup. 😢. Back in the day, my wife thought I was crazy for buying another 22 F90 after the m5cs, but I feared the inevitable. After driving the xm I bought the 23 m8 grancoupe as the last ditch effort to keep three of the last great v8 M sedans. I think I was right unfortunately. It’s a sad day for M-car fans when this is what you have to settle on. Remember the days when the M5 had a screaming V10 at the same time a Lamborghini did? Those were peak times for BMW ❤

Interesting take, especially the comparison to the F96, but visually at least I can confirm as the G90 looked comically big next to an FL5 Civic Type R and 991.2 GT3. 😂 I wish I'd had an F90 for a back-to-back drive, as I've never driven one. The last M5 I'd driven before that was my very own E61 M5 Touring (the very first review on this channel 😁), so I'm very familiar with the heartbreak but in a way I've come to terms with what it is, an M5 born in an adverse political climate. How does the F93 compare to the F90 M5? Are they as similar as one might think?
@ the m8gc feels really solid just a little more mass than my 22 m5 comp. Both are cf roof and steel rotors. My m5cs feels as close to the e60 m5 as any car I’ve ever driven. I have a 13 manual f10 m5 which is absolutely garbage to drive especially the steering feel is just shit. 😂. I thought about getting a new m5 wagon, but it’s so damn close to the x6m weight that I’d rather just pass. My x6m is a 2021 - so s63tu4. It will be curious to see if this g90 drops like the xm does in resale. I have a feeling this first model year will do that because the 2026 is going into production in a month I think. It’s stupid how bmw rushed this g90 to market and then now the 26 model will come out. Still no full lesther interior which is just super odd.
I don't know how you feel about it, but I am always more forgiving when it comes to the estate version. Not saying that makes me forget the hybrid system but if I ever went for a G9x, it'd probably be the Touring. I imagine it has something to do with new, tighter emissions regulations in the EU from 2025 onwards, on the other hand I'm not sure there'll be much change in the catalogue until the LCI arrives. @DarkXenoGaming: I don't think it's worth it, unless: - you want the newer car - you want a newer (not necessarily better) interior/tech - it makes sense from a tax perspective (depending on the country)
Your videos are really well done, I recommend looking up how to get the RUclips algorithm to pick up your videos more, because your videos should be getting WAY more views. My videos/channel has hundreds of thousands / millions of views, and my videos are crap. You really could take off, but make sure you are doing all the algorithm friendly cheats. 👌
