That's a damn nice truck guys 👍🏻 I've always heard good things about them Volvos. And I'm with you on the chrome Jeff, I love a nice rig with chrome shining everywhere! Thanks for all the videos lately, I enjoy the channel, I've been a fan since before street outlaws. Back when you did drag week in the black 57! I've been in your corner ever since, and I'll stay in your corner fellers!✌🏻
Jeff, you are one blessed man. You get to do a lot of really cool stuff and get to do it with your family and friends. I am very happy for you. Best of luck in all of your endeavors.
Going to be a good build to where you wanna get it, as a driver myself for your generator would install a plate between the generator and the drive tire to protect the generator in case a tire blows.
Most of this video Ben is standing holding the welding tank up by leaning on it and sitting in🪑 then goes to the other side and holds the post up for the lift … 😂 lol now we see what your talking about milking it … haha jk
Fantastic project Jeff, but most of all cant wait to see you and the NPK gang at both Sydney and Melbourne events, have a great journey and see you in Australia.
The only issues I've had out of a Volvo was the front air bags for the front suspension. They tend to blow out. Other than that they are good trucks. They ride very well. Great Video. Look forward to seeing you guys in June. Also the DD13 is the best motor in the industry. Tough and runs forever. But that ISX will do well for you guys with no more weight than you pull.
You guys are some bad asses like seriously you can watch all these other channels of street outlaws anybody that drag races, and all they do is live their lives about a Drag car you guys doing every day things like you do everything yourself if you don’t change anything anywhere are you guys build your own shit and that’s so awesome I love what you guys. I love your contact continue continue continue with some bad ass shit I can’t wait for the nail shop.
I love how you and Jeffrey Jr. Work together because you both make a helluva of a team exspecly with your build's & when you're racing Jr. is pro at setup on the car for each race , I can hear You praising him after you win a race . I'm really excited to see the new 57 when it's complete , that was one out of a couple from the 405 that was on my favorite's list , can't wait for the rebirth of the 57 , keep up the great hard work you all are doing with your videos loving them. Much love and Respect for you both stay safe guys.👌 😈☠👍✌✌
Hey. Nice to see Ben back at lrc🥳 those volvos are strong. All they drive here howling timber from the woods. Really big loads 100T in one go💪🇫🇮🇺🇸 Can't wait to see you guys again 💯
that rig is gonna be nice when its done! Mike Bowman seems like a guy that will drop everything to help a friend so it doesn't surprise me that he was Able to help y'all out. Just goes to show good friends are invaluable!
Love the build guys, if you or anyone else on the 405 needs a professional truck driver to haul your equipment around the country I'm your man, I've been driving 24years over the road w/no accidents, clean MVR. If so please message me back, thanks guys, keep up the good work 👍
I LOVE THE LUTZ FAMILY, SUCH AN AMAZING BOND AND PARTNERSHIP!!!! ps/ I forgive you guys for going Volvo instead of Peterbuilt or Kenworth, the Kings of the Road 🛣️. Take care and many blessings!!!
Love watching craftsman work their magic. Still waiting on a "deez lutz"zipp up hoodie hopefully printed on the sleeves with the gto taking someone to gapplebees with "I never saw him" across it. Make this happen PLEASE
I'm so grad you guys have a film guy now we need another for when Jeff is racing we have a film guy for Jeffery to watch the real fun all the projects in the shop.
Going to be a great build. What year Volvo ? You guys really got lucky with the accident Jeffery was involved in. Good to hear Mike Bowman stepped up to help you.
to bad shipping would not kill us. I stripped out two volvo trucks and all the parts and peices are stored in a trailer at work. or so I am pretty sure. I have not been in there for some time. we had 3 volvo's and now just have the one. I have to admit the D seiries motors are awesome, and are really awesome fuel milage. and yes just cut it off and weld the cap back in. you all are fabulous builders and welders, so do it to it. before i shut up, I put 3/4 million miles on the old volvo they still have at work. and in the intire time the company has owned we have put a clutch in it, (the boss thinks he is a super trucker and destroyed the clutch) and i replaced the air intake heater, and one air tank. so if taken care of the way it seems you guys do things it will last ya all forever
jeff can i make a suggestion? the rear step, what if you make it bolt on and off that way Jeffrey gets his rear step and you can have a chromed rear bar/step?
Hope ya'll have blast in "Stralia! FT & AZN certainly did! From the look of it, the car scene in Oz is great- send us post cards and info for the M'uricans that have to race those Barras here at Drag and Drives! FR
I bought a surge protector that goes on the battery terminals have had it for 15 years works great never had a prob & it beeps if there is bad connection or a short
And don't forget they do have all the Chrome accent door handles and interior and exterior The filler panels front need to cab that you're missing I don't forget to put all the chicken lights on it
Nothing wrong with a Volvo rig With an ISX according to my family that drives rigs of all kinds, and Butler is a GREAT place to find parts for even older rigs.
Just when you plate the tool boxs under the tray Put a substantial plate infont of the wheels when .... not if ..... thay blow it will demolish a thin sheet ..
Jeff I am a Volvo and Freightliner Truck Deal in Canton Ohio I can help you get anything you need for your truck. I highly recommend running an Ex-guard to protect the front end from deer hits. Pm if you need help with finding any parts you need.
Don't care what anyone's says that's a sweet Volvo they ride smooth drive amazing and yes if the fuel injection goes bad we'll it's the same with most rigs these days may take a few to get great choice Luz
Might be a foolish question. Do you have to have a CDL license to drive this on the highway or is it different rules when you own the semi & not driving for a company?
Put a small bag of charcoal inside the truck. Rip the bag open and leave it. This will soak up the smell in the cab. After a week, throw it away and replace it.
Can’t go wrong with a ISX Cummins. When it comes to the newer big rigs if it ain’t Red it ain’t right. Don’t get me wrong I love a Cat but you ain’t getting MPG with a Cat engine.
I had a buddy running rock with a tail dump aluminum trailer and he averaged over 7 mpg and the wasn't all interstate either. Plus those rock hauler run 80 everywhere
#letsgo !!!
Outfreakingstanding gentlemen. Great job!!! 👏
Nice work
Nice truck Guys.

Jeff, you are one blessed man. You get to do a lot of really cool stuff and get to do it with your family and friends. I am very happy for you. Best of luck in all of your endeavors.
Hey it was good seeing you at Cavelcade of costumes
Going to be a good build to where you wanna get it, as a driver myself for your generator would install a plate between the generator and the drive tire to protect the generator in case a tire blows.
Mad skills !
Omg look at them welds!way better than I could ever do 🧐

Holy crap that’s a lot of trucks 🛻
Most of this video Ben is standing holding the welding tank up by leaning on it and sitting in🪑 then goes to the other side and holds the post up for the lift … 😂 lol now we see what your talking about milking it … haha jk
We need more!!! LV watching the both of u work ,keep em coming plz all the way from ENGLAND X
Hey Jeffrey, Love the name Tripp for your son! (Yes, my name is Tripp for the same reason, I’m the third)
Fantastic project Jeff, but most of all cant wait to see you and the NPK gang at both Sydney and Melbourne events, have a great journey and see you in Australia.
Love butler truck parts on Oneida rd that place is glorious to a salvage man like me!!!
Great planning and build!!
I love that Jeff and Jeffrey work together and seem to enjoy this. I love that they work together so well.
I’m sure they fight like cats and dogs lol like most father and son duos!
@@OnlyTows87 i think your thinking or Monza and his son
@mrk454 no lol I’ve heard some stories Jeff and Jeffery have lived in my town forever I have mutual friends they are typical father and son
I think volo's are pretty sweet, gonna be pretty cool to see it finished.
Word of advice - if you mount a generator in front of drive tire you will want a heavy steel plate between them incase a drive tire blows
Also a carcass cutter like the burn out car guys use. Nice sharpened piece of steel to cut that rubber off when she pops.
It looks great. Don't care about the welds it's steel!
I love how you and Jeffrey Jr. Work together because you both make a helluva of a team exspecly with your build's & when you're racing Jr. is pro at setup on the car for each race , I can hear You praising him after you win a race . Much love and Respect for you both stay safe guys.👌
😈☠👍✌✌
Gotta love Jeff. You guys are great. Love your attitudes.
Looks really cool
That's gonna be one sweet ride!!!!!
Going to be a nice rig when U guys get done with it. Thanks
Hey. Nice to see Ben back at lrc🥳 those volvos are strong. All they drive here howling timber from the woods. Really big loads 100T in one go💪🇫🇮🇺🇸
Can't wait to see you guys again 💯
Love the Volvo
that rig is gonna be nice when its done! Mike Bowman seems like a guy that will drop everything to help a friend so it doesn't surprise me that he was Able to help y'all out. Just goes to show good friends are invaluable!
That music playing during the welding on the bed, IT SLAPS!
where yall find that 😆
Love this guy. Lutz"s famous words FU I don't care. No filters
Love the content, can’t wait for first NPK race!
See ya on the 24 of feb 🤘🏻
Love the episode guys. Great job. Also, I love that I heard Letter to me from Brad Paisley in the background when you were pulling into the truck yard
Love the build guys, if you or anyone else on the 405 needs a professional truck driver to haul your equipment around the country I'm your man, I've been driving 24years over the road w/no accidents, clean MVR. If so please message me back, thanks guys, keep up the good work 👍
I really hope we see that civic this year!!!
Dam between Sema and PRI sounds like y’all been through hell and back. Glad everyone safe
One of the nice things about the Volvo is it has the best turning radius which can help immensely in tight areas.
I LOVE THE LUTZ FAMILY, SUCH AN AMAZING BOND AND PARTNERSHIP!!!! ps/ I forgive you guys for going Volvo instead of Peterbuilt or Kenworth, the Kings of the Road 🛣️. Take care and many blessings!!!
That’s what I love most about drag racers always helping their competitors.
go too your local cleaning supply store and get cherry blossom disinfectant it kills all bad odours great for stinky work shops too
Love watching craftsman work their magic. Still waiting on a "deez lutz"zipp up hoodie hopefully printed on the sleeves with the gto taking someone to gapplebees with "I never saw him" across it. Make this happen PLEASE
I swear I just saw the truck with the smart car on it in Alliance Ohio yesterday.
I have the same view as you. A Interstate highway. Yours seems quieter though.
There's something about them Volvos , when you drive it you'll find yourself liking it. They drive great. And all the stuff is in the right places.
Straight stacks all the way
I'm so grad you guys have a film guy now we need another for when Jeff is racing we have a film guy for Jeffery to watch the real fun all the projects in the shop.
Going to be a great build. What year Volvo ? You guys really got lucky with the accident Jeffery was involved in. Good to hear Mike Bowman stepped up to help you.
2006
swing doors on cabinets mount winch in cabinets with rollers
That was the toe pig that y'all blow up? Man I hope that stays at the front of the project list to get rebuilt. That is a cool ass truck
Jeffrey is the man with the plan that boy is Mega talented
finely a new video I know you guys are busy just hope you give us more just sayen
Isx450 is great 👍 do your upkeep on it and you won't be on the side of the road. I work on those trucks an you got the best one you could get
to bad shipping would not kill us. I stripped out two volvo trucks and all the parts and peices are stored in a trailer at work. or so I am pretty sure. Question do you unhook the battery from the truck when welding or no need to? Awesome job on the deck and the step!👍
Yeah you should always disconnect when you have a computer.
I bought a surge protector that goes on the battery terminals have had it for 15 years works great never had a prob & it beeps if there is bad connection or a short
And don't forget they do have all the Chrome accent door handles and interior and exterior The filler panels front need to cab that you're missing I don't forget to put all the chicken lights on it
dont forget cabinet for the ramps
Finally a new video.
This should be your next Sema show entry.
Nothing wrong with a Volvo rig With an ISX according to my family that drives rigs of all kinds, and Butler is a GREAT place to find parts for even older rigs.
Most machine shops can shorten tanks .. run the overhead on the isx if you don’t know maintenance history..
winch to pull smart car up the ramp
Did that Volvo come with a turbin for when you're behind the wheel?? All due respect Mr Jeff Lutz I'd expect you to have a w900L or a Pete long hood
Just watch out with that isx ERG cooler and turbo vgt actuators are pretty common failures for the isx
Yup...we are old school chrome guys...I ordered my pickup with chrome options..bumpers rims etc lol
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
THANK GOD YOU GOT A ISX AND A AUTO ERIC SHOULD BE HAPPEY.
Just when you plate the tool boxs under the tray
Put a substantial plate infont of the wheels when .... not if ..... thay blow it will demolish a thin sheet ..
would be interesting to see you guys build an
80's era C10 truck
We did build a c3500 dually which we are going to duramax swap it in a later video
Screw you if you don’t like the welds😂😂😂😂😂 fkin tell em Jeff loving tha Volvo 👍👍👍👍
Needs a cowl hood!!! Lol
Talk to Tim gentrie for anything to do with trucking including your grill they can do custom grills anything you want in chrom or stainless
Jeff I am a Volvo and Freightliner Truck Deal in Canton Ohio I can help you get anything you need for your truck. I highly recommend running an Ex-guard to protect the front end from deer hits. Pm if you need help with finding any parts you need.
The Movado Volvo 🙄 get a 389 pride and class!!!!
Imo the Volvo rides better than anything on the market! Don't get me wrong Pete's are great but the Volvos are a nice ride
Don't care what anyone's says that's a sweet Volvo they ride smooth drive amazing and yes if the fuel injection goes bad we'll it's the same with most rigs these days may take a few to get great choice Luz
Putting chrome on that is like putting perfume on a pig ! They are comfortably
Don't go kicker. Go like sundown components with silk tweeters or like focal if want sound quality
Might be a foolish question. Do you have to have a CDL license to drive this on the highway or is it different rules when you own the semi & not driving for a company?
can tell you one thing volvo trucks
it is mostly fast and always works
Lutz is the man
Out of the 405 crew, I only follow Chief and Jeff,
I've never seen a while though that didn't have to have or had had new door handle put in
They sell Volvo Chrome in the roll.... I think they call it duct tape
Put a small bag of charcoal inside the truck. Rip the bag open and leave it. This will soak up the smell in the cab. After a week, throw it away and replace it.
Who wouldn't love to work for Jeff and Jeffrey? That's a job I'd jump through hoops for. Even if it was just filming everything they do!
Truck junkyard love you when you come cuz you spend money
