Did you try going into Properties and enabling the setting "Extend official overclocking limits"? You will then need to reboot your machine before it will allow the higher level overclocks that are common with this card.
Set memory to 900 Core to 885 Asus one have fan so max it out And then install directx9 I got 40 on gta 5 (lowest setting) 60 on farcry 2 (med) 80/120 on csgo Thats sooo playble
That could be caused by a variety of things. Just off the top of my head some causes could be: -The cable going from the gpu to the monitor is going bad. This can happen with both VGA and DVI connections. -The socket on the gpu is going bad. -The drivers got corrupted. Try reinstalling drivers for the card. -The gpu's color settings may be set incorrectly in Windows. -If the screen starts off normal, then goes yellow after using it for some time, that may be an overheating issue. -The monitor may have it's color profile set wrong. Use the monitor buttons to check things like color/contrast/gamma. Good luck!
Use MSI only to unlock the overclocking feature then you can uninstall it. Using overdrive from the Catalyst software, i set my 512mb card to 760 GPU and Memory on 695 mhz.
I have reached 750 mhz clock and 580 mhz memory, I don't think I can reach your temps as my gpu is reaching 73 degrees now on amds test. Mine doesn't have any fan. However I am running chilled ac in the room at 20'
That's strange. The HD 5450 does support DX11 and shader model 5.0 as far as I know. Is the game perhaps trying to use integrated graphics in the machine, or is the monitor hooked up to integrated graphics port? Have you tried updating the drivers to the newest supported ones? What game are you trying to run?

I had this card 12 yrs ago. It worked good that time. Was playn league of legends and metin2 on it. Never disapointed me

I use the hd5450 1gb from the very old pc, it works on honkai star rail really well without overclock. 4fps on 1080p lowest lol

When i install the drivers the max memory clock was 700 then when i download msi ab it change to max memory clock 520

This is my current card and my experience with this card is bad
for 40€ i buy a gt1030 2go, it's more power of hd5450 ... for less money
It doesn’t play Shadow of the Tomb Raider, even at the lowest settings. Glad I got an XSS and a PS5, shit!😂
This GPU was never meant for gaming seeing it's the price of a dualsense controller
