The performance of your PC is directly proportional to the RGB index. The RGB index is calculated by the sum of the red, green and blue luminosity emitted from the PC and dividing it by the total volume of the PC.

Integer Scaling: disabled
After years of playing best setting I have encountered to play at non-native resolution, without making image look ugly blurry.
Had to share with those who needed some insight to play on lower resolution rather than native resolution of their monitor.
Edit: enable anti lag for smooth input experience. Best setting to be enabled for weak GPUs.

i love the ease of overclocking, and just overclocked my PC for the first time ever and got ~20% gains. Playing Gundam Evolution at 4k, Ultra w/ 70-75fps (was 60-65fps before overclock)
@Lost-wo7tzif ur pc working on low temperature then hell yeah it's safe. But if it's above 80 then it can shut down and possibly stop working.

I think you should try it. Atleast a little bit. It is always better to have 3 fan Windforce GPU that can handle high temperatures than 2 fan non windforce.
hows it going im having issues where my game crashes either into a black screen or it says "dxgi error device removed" here are my specs. any idea on how to fix these issues?

which is more accurate? At the start MSI kombuster stated that i had 113C but on MSI After Burner it stated a steady 50C. If Kombuster is inaccurate how do i fix this issue, or what is more trust worthy between the two? Also farther into the stress test is started to show 130C! While AfterBurner was still stating temps near the high 50s.
If hwinfo tells you the temp is at 113°c you need to reduce the top temp allowance on the app but keep the fan speed decently high. Alot of gpu aren't meant to overclock and many cpu aren't meant to do so either. In worse case scenario you may need to invest in a better gpu. Best case you need more or better case fans as the airflow is bad in your pc. ( before EVER OVERCLOCKING ANYTHING make sure your pc is spotless in the dust department. Gpu can and will catch fire. Honestly don't push the gpu to its limits right off the bat increase its max running capability slowly. My suggestion don't let anything in your pc go above 80°c. I ALWAYS have task manager ready to shut down any stress test app once my cpu and gpu reach past 87°. Honestly at least for the cpu it'll throttle down after 75° and do the opposite of boost performance. Gpu will run the same way.
I’m having the same problem as well my fps aren’t going up at all when I change my clock settings but when I click on tessellation my fps goes up a lot any fix to that ? I need help
i set my core clock to 240 and memory clock to 900 (only crashing when core clock-is above 250 and mem clock above 900) mem clock 900 safe hai?? my temps are stable / fluctuating between 70-75 (only gpu) adn for cpu my temps are 63-67only .. thanks in advance @BareFox

yo I have your exact graphics card but mine is only giving out 74 fps is there a problem with my gpu? I updated all required drivers and my gpu has been this way for a while. Just wondering if there is a problem because overclocking didnt seem to solve it.

litterly bro i cant explain how happy i am i was trying to play valorant on low setting i was firstly getting 134 fps which was droping alot but after overclocking i got directly 174 and 160 fps mid no much drop

My games black screen unless my GPU power limit is set to around -20 in radeon so i go -25 to be safe. Is it possible to still overclock with this method? Spiderman droppin soon so ima need all the performance i can get haha
Yes, look up for best optimal clocks for your gpu.
my max is 140, but when i put it on like around 100-120 it starts getting really choppy. would that choppy effect happen while i play games? (including vr)
If that stresses out the unit and it is overheated, your game or your pc will crash.
Looking for some help. When i load to kombustor and it is sitting at 89 gpu temp or 192.2 F. I put my fan speed at 90 and is not moving. But when I turn the kombustor off im at 57 degrees. Any tips?

Hello. I did the same settings as you did. I have RTX 2080, 32 GB RAM DDR4 3200Mhz CL 16, Intel I5-11400F, SSD PRO 980 1 TB, PSU 600W be quiet, Motherboard: ASRoch H570 Steel Legend and I only get 70 fps in the kombustor. can you help me please?
I'm not sure if I should be concerned but... On MSI Ventux X2 3060, I can do:
Core clock: +215
Memory clock: +900
No crashing at all, I already spent hour testing it in MSI Kombustor, even portal rtx.
If it doesnt crash you are good to go, just make sure the temps are healthy.

Tried the settings (core clock and memory clock) but there was no fps change in Kombustor.

I'm a month late, but msi afterburner has to be running minimised in the background to run the overclocked settings, otherwise your GPU will return to its original clock

Hi. Thanks very much for this great video ! Very helpful if only I could get it to work on my computer (Asus VivoBook Pro 16 X OLED with Ryzen 7 6800H and RTX 3050Ti GPU). I downloaded MSI before and tried to overclock but everytime I clicked on the OC button and tried to run the test it would fail. So I looked up and found that I need to run NVIDIA Control Panel as administrator. I did that and the OC button is greyed out now and so is the K button. So I can't do anything now ! Any help with this would be greatly appreciated ! God Bless !

@@jean-pierreraduocallaghan8422 its only a laptop gpu which is basically is just a cut down version of the 3060 they just wanted to make the marketing more appealing by adding "Ti" to the 3050 which sorta makes a difference with performance but not really that much, so basically you cant buy it as a physical card. only for gaming laptops.

Dud you try turning off full screen optimisation from the application properties and turning on/off the Game Mode.
Why am I only getting about 80 FPS while using the exact Same graphics card? I have the MSI RTX 2070 Super, Could it be the CPU? It's an I5-9600k. Even though this is a GPU tester I'm not sure what else It would be.
I'm running it almost exactly like this video, 102 Core Clock(Mhz) and +60 Memory Clock
at 100% fan power and max Fan temp limit.
Also getting about 72-75c

Don't take it that high, your games will crash. Just increment it little bit.

When I open afterburner I can not access "voltage", "fan", "1 2 3 4 5"
I clicked to allow voltage control in settings, there is no option for fan or the 12345 but volt is still greyed out after start up anyway.

I’m perplexed by something:
I recently did a deep-clean of my PC and am redoing everything; updated drivers, memory scrub, etc, etc.
I use an RTX 3090 and Nvidia’s latest driver for it was released a few months ago this year vs the driver I had before that was well more than a year old.
My last Overclock was something like
Core-Clock +110 and
Memory Clock +100?
But for some reason this time around:
Core Clock is at +160
And Memory Clock is at +940 and still going….
Did Nvidia’s update break the 30-series GPUs wide open or something? What’s going on here?
I'm not sure why is that happening but set it default on 0 memory and clock. RTX30 Series performs better in gaming without overclocked aswell.
@@BareFox yup, you’re right; it wasn’t stable at all. Something changed to allow the usual benchmark methods to gloss over. IE Heaven Benchmark and Kombustor. But as soon as I tried a game it broke in 5 minutes or less.
Left it at 0/0 and holding stable just fine now. I hold 120-160fps with some dips into 90s on 4K all Ultra but RTX Off so no need to push for the extra 10~ if it’s gonna be weird lol

@@tongdejesus the memory should be able to take way more then just 140, I've pushed mine to a high of 1000 in memory clock before more then half my games started crashing or artifacting, I also managed to get 140 on core clock with minimal crashes. It really depends on how good the gpu die is made, some are better or worse then others.
I have 1660 super and my core clock is +180 and memory is at +300
Not sure what I'm doing wrong but my GPU temp is staying at a solid 154.4 degrees C or 309.2 degrees F. My FPS is staying at around 60 and the GPU load is at 100. My CPU is at 130 degrees C or 266 degrees F. Both my fan speed and power is on max. If it helps I'm using a RTX 3060 and a AMD Ryzen 5 5600x. My guess is i need a new power supply seeing as I have a 700w. Any ideas why this could be happening?
that psu is not the problem it might be the thermal paste inside your gpu

U probably not sitting the cooler right or the thermal paste really bad , get some noctua thermal paste
my kombustor says im at 300+ Fahrenheit but ik for a fact im not, everything else says im at normal temps (abt 120 F). maybe a bug?

for some reason afterburner is not letting me set the temp limit and power limit to the max. also the kombustor software is very laggy at 8 fps
My friend before my 750ti i used to have gt710 i overclocked to +300 core clock and +380 memory clock thats insane right but surprisingly its working till now I have gt710 in my room so i would recommend if you have gt710 you can heavily overclock it I will work for like 1.5 years

Hey I have a a MSI Laptop with a 12th Gen Intel core i7 12650H CPU and a RTX 3070 ti. With a 144 hz display. I tried following your video but first issue was the fan adjustment area is greyed out and will not allow me to adjust. Although my pc has the ability to manually turn the fan speed up extra high.which is what I did before anything else.second I tried adjusting the core clock and didn't notice any difference on the stress test.i got up to like 140. And was scared to mess something up.same with the memory clock. What should I do?

After I did safe overclocking until it was stable and then my games starting having flickering so I was wondering how do I correct this should I just lower it

What kinda cpu u have? I dont have a amd gpu i dont think thats necessary to do this. I did these settings didnt change much its only 68fps even tho i have a 144hz monitor and mostly every game runs over 100fps easily. Fps itself went up in the kombustor like 2 fps or so.

Will this work on Lenovo legion y-530 as the processor is an i7-8750h and gpu is a 1050 non-ti and I’m facing microstutters in dying light 1. Hopefully this will fix it. I think I’ll max out the core as well memory clocks. Coz I can’t download kombuster. It’s greyed out in my laptop.
Why is power limit greyd out on msi afterburner? i have 3050ti laptop. I tried to change msi skin and etc, nothing helped. Same in other apps
can you help me i did something in the msi afterburner software i put the biggest numbers on core clock and memory clock and my screen went black, i restarted my pc then and now my memory and gpu is 400 and 139

Core Clock: +30
Memory Clock: +50
Is that RTX 3050 good enough to run fivem Grizzley World... Idk which one to get that will not laggg
