Hi everyone. As I mentioned on my feed, the original video had the wrong information regarding the model number and pickups, so I've fixed it and reuploaded it again with the correct info. Rather than leave a video with incorrect info on my page, it was better to sort it out asap. Thanks for watching.

You're a good man Shane! Stickler for accuracy! \m/
I'm such a fan of Eastman semi-hollows. Their tone for price is nearly unrivaled. As always, great playing and review!
I just bought one and absolutely love it . I’ve played a ton of Gibson 355s and the Eastman just sounds better to me . Plus is beautifully made . The colour is gorgeous too . Give it a try . You will fall in love .
I own 2 Eastmans, an SB59 GB, and a SB55/v. I am seriously thinking about making this model my third. I have been so impressed with the quality and playability of these guitars they are just blowing me away.
Thank you to you and Jerry's Lefty Guitars for the demo and review of this fantastic Eastman. Love the sound of this one. Please keep the great demos, reviews, and videos coming.
I have one, they're beautiful guitars, especially the t59v antique violin varnish. Great playability & tone with the Seymour Duncan antiquity pickups.
Eastman has put together a lovely blue beast with tones to make Lucille blush. She sounded great in your hands, Shane. I'm a fan of being distinctive without going too nuts with inlay. They got these just right, finishing off the classic look on a very dark fretboard.
As the proud owner of an Eastman SB-59/v-GB Les Paul copy, I am not surprised at the quality of this guitar. It's on my wishlist for sure.
T59/v is a tier higher than the T484 and my T386. If mine sounds amazing, this is a lot better! Eastman makes beautiful high quality guitars, it's great that you found a lefty to try.
A pleasant surprise seeing this beautiful guitar again!!! If I do get a 335 style guitar, I’m going for this one!!🎸🎸👍🏾
The sound of that guitar suits you mate, that intro was awesome 👍,
Just bought one and ITS AMAZING. I texted 5 other 335s for three times the cost and this was my fav to play
The T59/v and the Fairfield Barbershop OD are a match made in heaven.
I got a lefty T386 a couple of months ago , and couldn't believe how great it feels and sounds .
Commenting to feed the algorithm, this is truly a unique guitar
Thanks!
Cannot say enough about how fantastic these t59’s are. I’m thoroughly pleased with mine.
Yes sounds huge....how much do they go for and can they handle distortion without feedback?
When I look beyond my laptop screen while watching this video I see my T59/V in red on its stand. Love it, and everyone who plays it loves it too. Sounds wonderful thru all the amps I've tried.
Great review - Eastman deserves the exposure. I own a T486 and love everything about it.
Just got a T486 myself. Awesome in every way.
T486… me too… LOVE that thing
I have an original Eastman SB59 and it is a very well made, great playing guitar, great LP alternative. Eastman makes quality instruments and great bang for the $.
Try the 59/v Absolutely amazing!
I have a great t486B in Cherry with Bigsby i love it has SD phat cat pups the guitar is high end for sure in fit and finish
As always, such beautiful playing!
I much prefer the new thinner headstock, which also helps with tuning on the 3rd and 4th strings. They stopped using that antique varnish of the type used on violins, because it was melting in the heat, and was too soft. The "Truetone" varnish they use is a catalyzed urethane, which is harder and thinner, so it should sound better, but I've some people claim the antique varnish feels and sounds better (their price will go up then)?
That bridge pickup sounds awesome. The one I used to have was the best sounding guitar I owned. I never jived with the neck b that one. I have a used one coming though and hoping it fits better. The shapes of each Eastman neck vary sooo much.
I bought one a few months ago in Australia. Awesome guitar! So much better feel and sound than the Gibson 335 I tried (which cost twice as much)… has heaps more mojo too… just a beautiful guitar all round 👍
I'm right handed and I have a D'Angerlico but if I hadn't and that was right hands I would love this Eastman pickups sound great
I have a T484 and love it, absolutely beautifully made, different pickups but still great. I was going to buy a T64 but managed to get a great deal on a Heritage H530 which is also amazing… really, who needs Gibson on the headstock (says he with a Les Paul 😂)
Gorgeous tones, one thing it needs is the Vintage (50-s) Wiring. It really helps when you use your volume extensively. Easy fix, giving the fact it already has one of the best PAF clones on the market.
I have that very guitar, got rid of my 335 after a few months of owning the Eastman.
Very handsome guitar
Curious on your professional opinion. I’m attempting to transition from acoustic to electric. I’m used to playing big body dreds. Is this the best transitional option ? Why?
Man.......love it!!!! The headstock and the satin finish I prefer as well looks great eh!!?? And The inlays!!!! Would of loved to hear some "Woman" tones!😉
Nice review. Anyone know when Jerry’s will reopen. Nothing on the blog and haven’t seen any update since 9/22!
He’s in the process of building the new place. It should be hopefully this year.
man i wish i could find a review with some jazz playing. I don’t get the market for this guitar by all im hearing. Hipsters in gentrificationville?
Pickup switch placement drives me crazy - not traditional but put it where Les Pauls have it
Pretty top
I’ve had mine for about a month. It sounds wonderful and plays great. I had a Sire h7 which did not compare to the Eastman.
Much difference between this and the T486?
This does have a premium feel due to the finish but both play very well.
Eastman is one of the very few brands I'd ever consider buying new.
...very few.
Me too!! Absolutely adore my 59/v
It looks exactly like my SX double cuttaway
Guitar sounds killer
I always wonder why Clapton switched to Strats when I hear tone like this.
I enjoy watching Shane's guitar review videos but his showing left-hand guitars always looks strange to me. I end up watching his guitar reviews looking at the reversed-image video on a hand-held mirror. Message to Shane @intheblues , have you considered posting mirror-imaged versions of your videos so that the guitars you review look like non-lefty guitars?
No thanks.
@@intheblues wrote, "No thanks."
Understood. Demos / reviews of lefty guitars on RUclips are few and far between for lefty guitarists.
They are made in China. Not for me.
Why? They are hand made in China and by all account turn up immaculate out the box! Unlike Gibson!
They’re completely hand made with great attention to detail. They’re not churned out by some factory that makes guitars for other companies. Eastman started out making violins, cellos, etc, then eventually started making guitars, as well. They are REALLY fine instruments for a really great price. My T59/v and my Romeo blow me away with their quality and playability. You’re really missing out.
@@esdel1955 I agree, I have one of these, had to get it from the UK as they're not anywhere to be seen in Oz...I think we all need to move beyond the old Made in China thing, while it was a thing a while back that's definitely not the case with these hand made instruments...
If you’re put off by politics then I understand your point but if you believe that Eastman is lower quality then you are incorrect.
10mths late..but, how many of your cars components, the device you're using (10mths back!) come from?
I've got a Slot Head Parlour (it's just breaking in, after 2yrs)..
Adirondack top, hand carved, Pingwell tuners (same factory as the golf clubs, not that l play golf!)...
Polished ebony fretboard...
It honestly blows my mates Sitka topped Martin away.
