    Hi everyone. As I mentioned on my feed, the original video had the wrong information regarding the model number and pickups, so I've fixed it and reuploaded it again with the correct info. Rather than leave a video with incorrect info on my page, it was better to sort it out asap. Thanks for watching.

    I just bought one and absolutely love it . I’ve played a ton of Gibson 355s and the Eastman just sounds better to me . Plus is beautifully made . The colour is gorgeous too . Give it a try . You will fall in love .

    Eastman has put together a lovely blue beast with tones to make Lucille blush. She sounded great in your hands, Shane. I'm a fan of being distinctive without going too nuts with inlay. They got these just right, finishing off the classic look on a very dark fretboard.

    T59/v is a tier higher than the T484 and my T386. If mine sounds amazing, this is a lot better! Eastman makes beautiful high quality guitars, it's great that you found a lefty to try.

    I much prefer the new thinner headstock, which also helps with tuning on the 3rd and 4th strings. They stopped using that antique varnish of the type used on violins, because it was melting in the heat, and was too soft. The "Truetone" varnish they use is a catalyzed urethane, which is harder and thinner, so it should sound better, but I've some people claim the antique varnish feels and sounds better (their price will go up then)?

    That bridge pickup sounds awesome. The one I used to have was the best sounding guitar I owned. I never jived with the neck b that one. I have a used one coming though and hoping it fits better. The shapes of each Eastman neck vary sooo much.

    Gorgeous tones, one thing it needs is the Vintage (50-s) Wiring. It really helps when you use your volume extensively. Easy fix, giving the fact it already has one of the best PAF clones on the market.

    I enjoy watching Shane's guitar review videos but his showing left-hand guitars always looks strange to me. I end up watching his guitar reviews looking at the reversed-image video on a hand-held mirror. Message to Shane @intheblues , have you considered posting mirror-imaged versions of your videos so that the guitars you review look like non-lefty guitars?

    • @bluefish1875

      Why? They are hand made in China and by all account turn up immaculate out the box! Unlike Gibson!

    • @esdel1955
      @esdel1955 Год назад +6

      They’re completely hand made with great attention to detail. They’re not churned out by some factory that makes guitars for other companies. Eastman started out making violins, cellos, etc, then eventually started making guitars, as well. They are REALLY fine instruments for a really great price. My T59/v and my Romeo blow me away with their quality and playability. You’re really missing out.

      @@esdel1955 I agree, I have one of these, had to get it from the UK as they're not anywhere to be seen in Oz...I think we all need to move beyond the old Made in China thing, while it was a thing a while back that's definitely not the case with these hand made instruments...

    • @danielmargolis3210

      I've got a Slot Head Parlour (it's just breaking in, after 2yrs)..
      Adirondack top, hand carved, Pingwell tuners (same factory as the golf clubs, not that l play golf!)...
      Polished ebony fretboard...
      It honestly blows my mates Sitka topped Martin away.
