Big thumbs up before the video even started! Just can't go wrong with Mr. Charles. This is the most touching and emotional version of "America the Beautiful" right beside Whitney's "National Anthem" I know she has had a lot of troubles these last few years but when you have artist of this caliber singing one of her songs you do realize you live in the greatest country on earth. Great video, thank you. :)

As sh*tty as this country treated Ray Charles, I am amazed he was generous enough to give us this gift. This should be our national anthem and only the Ray Charles version should be used!

Ray Charles lost his sight at the age I've seen Ray Charles in New York in the 50s in Harlem New York he was walking by himself with no cane no dog 🐶 no nothing he bumped into me and almost knocked me down I used to walk on crutches I was born with cerebral palsy I use a power chair now at that time he was headlining a show at the world famous Apollo theater. I also Met Stevie Wonder several times he dated one of my friends.
