  • This is Night Cat Outdoors ultralight 1 person trekking poll tent. Simple set up and take down make this breeze after a day on trail. A few stakes and a trekking pole along with a couple guy lines and you have yourself self a 2lb sil nylon shelter to sleep in and keep you protected from the elements with 5000mm of water resistance per square inch. They really have thought of everything with this tent from glow in the dark toggles on the guy lines for saftey to a inner hook to hang a headlamp or lantern. All the zippers operate smoothly and the quality of the materials and stitching is over the top with double stitched and reinforced tie outs and taped seams. I can not wait to get this tent out on trail with me.

got a few multi day hikes this spring/summer had to downsize I think it's gonna do the trick. really wanna try running a ridgline with it as I typically don't pack trekking polls haha

@@JTDOutdoors yes I would go ridgeline too. I am always knocking the bloody poles over. 🤣🤣

Hi the stakes are correct, the front guy rope (the one with two adjusters) has a black rams head horns clip (can't think how better to describe it) to attach the two door loops to. Therefore you don't need an extra stake for the front doors and you use that stake for the final guy rope . NB mine came with an instruction booklet

Thank you!!! that makes perfect sense lol.

thanks Mike. I'm beyond impressed with every thing shy of missing a stake lol not sure if I pitched it wrong or not haha learning curve with new gear. nice to pitch it and look it over before I hike off to the middle of no where.

Hey!! Great review! I’ve seen this tent a few times, it does look good. I thought the stakes looked quite short so agree with swapping them out for longer ones.
That end pocket is for your hip flask by the way😉😂
I look forward to seeing some of your adventures! Take care, Karen ✨🍃

Thanks you. I totally set it up wrong I learned the hard way 🤣 not shoort a stake just pitched out the door incorrectly lol. Deffintly stakes to be longer but fair weather 3 season use these would be do the trick.

Guyline might be for a poleless setup for under a tree. That's my thoughts.
