as a mercedes-benz master tech I can appreciate this. only issue with these cars is that the wheel will be covered in brake dust again in less than a week. price you pay for good stopping power. also gonna give you a side tip. if you pop your hood and look at the engine cover at the very front, you will see where the edge is rubbing into coolant hose.. over time it can rub through. apply a small piece of black felt tape to the panel to prevent this.
As a mechanic, this is a helpful tip. I know several people with Mercedes.

@@StaufferGarage NP, the M133 engine is a very good powerplant. AMG had to cram all that stuff under the hood of a 117 chassis so things are tight. LMK if you want the instructions to put the car in dyno mode for the full AMG experience.. ( IE no esp whatsoever) :)
@@malloymotorsports780 I'm surprised that you didn't have a problem with him spraying wax onto the brake rotors. I cringed when I saw him doing that. A definite NO-NO on every car that I know of.

If you ceramic coat them all you have to do is spray em off!!
I wouldn’t be spraying any sort of wax or silicone near the brakes, unless you wanna end up in the hedge/ditch! 🙈😂
One brake test and its gone. Nothing to worry about.

I love the lack of background music so we can actually hear the noises of the tools and such. Also, you have a very gentle voice! Great for ASMR. I almost fell asleep watching this and I mean that as a compliment! Very nice and relaxing and satisfying! 👍🏻

We are in a lockdown and in the middle of a drought with water restrictions in Auckland, NZ. Watching you washing your car while mine sit dirty is satisfying while frustrating at the same time.
A friendly safety tip - use a jack stand to support your car, a jack is a lifting tool not a support. Maybe you had one but couldn’t see it. Just wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself (or your car)

Not sure if it’s a good idea to spray wax on to your brake rotors... doesn’t that make them slick and affect the stopping power of the brakes?

Love your channel and watch often. One thing I never see on your channel is Spray Nine. That stuff is a MIRACLE when it comes to brake dust stains. Give it a try. I love it.

For me I use a wire brush attached to a drill to clean the rotors drill holes this make it a lot easier

I am soo looking for doing this, I preped my summer aloys back in fall, now I am stuck in dorm abroad, with ugly winter steel wheels and waiting to go home and clean the crap out of the car.

I see that you also have the jacking blocks that fit inside the jacking pockets on the frame of BMW's. The guys at my local Discount Tire had never seen them before. BTW, looks like you're gonna be needing rotors in the near future from the ridge I see at the outer edge. Just replaced the rears on my 535iGt because of pulsing. Best prices at Rock Auto.
Have you ever had the chance to do the Honda Element? They say it can be completely sprayed out with a hose?
Jenn Thompson that “hose it out” thing is just a myth, the car doesn’t have the drains it would need to handle all that water and dirt.
It has a rubber mat instead of carpet, and that lead to the myth.

Hi I have a quick question. So my mom has leather seats in her car and they have chlorine stains on them from when she would pick me up from work (I work at a Waterpark life guarding) and I was wondering if those could be removed from the leather or not, thanks!

caustic oven cleaner will get all of that nastily baked on brake dust off the inside of the wheels. You must be mindful of splash back when rinsing. Good for cleaning engine blocks too but again be careful as that stuff burns the skin.

Do a run through of all your cars and what you like and don’t like about that particular male or model would be cool

jack it up and put it on 4 jackstands and do it all at once. can do a tire rotation is needed at the same time. i would not work on a car with just a jack as a support. please consider using jack stands

What is the easiest and preferably free editing software for RUclips. I spent all day making 2 Vids and they are the wrong format. I did get 1 to upload directly from the program but the second one uploaded for 12hrs and didn't even go to my RUclips, so I need help plz!!!

If I could make a suggestion, I see you squatting in every video when you’re down low. May I suggest a knee board call ergokneel handy mat II. Game changer. That way you don’t put your knees in the water or have to wear knee pads!
