After shots so clean I reliably use them to find all of the spots I missed when cleaning my phone screen. If it looks like Stauffer missed a spot, it’s much more likely your screen is dirty.
Funny you should mention that. I literally didn't realise how dirty my laptop screen was until I saw this video. "Oh, he missed a spot." *licks thumb and wipes screen "Nope... He didn't"

Just got the detailing brushes in the mail and wow they make a huge difference when cleaning. Dirt was falling off my leather seats and I didn’t even think they were that dirty.
I love this channel!!! Even though I’m a 27 year old, I feel like every time I watch one of these videos that I’m learning new ways to clean/fix my car from my car-smart dad😂 Thank you for helping me learn to appreciate and care for my vehicle❤️
I just recently got a car, 08 Grand Prix. Used, of course. I'm so glad I found this channel. Cannot wait to do my first at home detail. Also if I could buy any car I want it would be a Trailblazer. Had one years ago and have missed it ever since!
OMG, now i watched a few videos of detailing cars and i really have learned so many things that i could use for my own car and the cars i have to detail at work. Thanks Stauffer Garage :)
Stauffer, you should buy an adam’s master blaster for drying your car which would help to get into those hard spots like the trim and even the engine bay. Love your videos, you’re definitely the best and the most hardworking detailer I’ve seen on RUclips ❤️ - detailing a car and editing a video, what more do you want on a Wednesday afternoon and after class.
Your videos are so amazing! Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the work you put into your videos & cleaning cars. So happy to be apart of your channel! Also, i love that you keep in your “mistakes” (they’re funny to me!) 💖 lol.
Vi Si I was watching The Detail Geek and was feeling self-conscience about our car and got motivated to give it a good hovering. Turned out really nice!
My favorite since starting to watch your channel. You overdid yourself in this one. Seems to me you prefer this type of detail. I know I do. You went above and beyond and I love this!!
Great job as always! I would by my all time favorite car a 1992 ford thunderbird. I have had 2 in the past and I love them. I wish I lived in your city so you could detail my truck.
Love your work! Never thought I'd find vids like this so satisfying and even relaxing; but, you've motivated me to follow, buy the chems, tools, and an extractor (thanks a lot - lol). You seem to be of that rare breed who take great pride and care in the quality of your work. Very impressed by your work ethic and fast attention to detail!
Great video again Matt! I have a suggestion for future videos. For before/after shots, I think you should add a transition effect for a cleaner presentation. Small change but I think it would make the videos look better
I would pick up a 2019 Lincoln Navigator Black Label 4wd as an upgrade to my current 08 Navigator ive always been a truck person but as soon as I saw my Navigator I fell in love. The handling and uniqueness is unparalleled to any other vehicle I have yet to own .
Mine would be the latest Chevy Camaro RS with a Turbo... Also this vid was therapeutic for me . I really enjoy the filthy vehicle when you clean em but this will do till your next vid , thanks keep up the great work 👍👍 👍
We had major flooding in southern Utah one year. Well, it made dirt go into every crevasse of the minivan we owned. My parents were still finding pockets of dirt from that for several years after that. We didn’t have undercarriage cleaning in our area. I’m sure you would’ve made our van sparkle again!
Thanks so much for this. I have a nice Sportage and I want to keep it nice. These videos are helping me learn how to detail it and keep it in top condition.
I really enjoy your content. Really useful and practical tips. I recently found a new tip when it comes to washing the vehicle and I was wondering what your thoughts were. The tip was to load 5 or 6 mitts into the wash bucket without a rinse bucket. After a mitt is used on a panel, it's set aside and removed from the process. I thought it was a really good idea, but I haven't tried it yet (not enough mitts). I've been watching your channel for a while, but I'm not sure if you've tried this method or not. If you've never done a wash this way, would you consider doing a video with this process in the future? Thought I'd pass it along. Anyway, love the channel. Keep up the good work. BTW, '71 Mach I Mustang Fastback. Super bad ass!!
Great video! I would love to get a twin turbo Audi R8 V10! But I don't want to get rid on my 350Z! Your 350Z cleaning video is way better then the video I tried to make! Thanks for the upload!
Can you do a video on how to take the seats out of different brands of vehicles? Also, can you do a segment on what tools will best get at those hard to reach places on vehicles that don’t give access by seat movement? Thanks!
Hey guys I would get a 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. My Jeep Compass is an old 2008 that's in great shape and in the process of a paint change but I just love how it handles and it's great on gas. Thanks to watching your videos every week she's clean as a whistle! Keep up the great videos. :)
Is it just me or at 8:03 and onwards is there a editing error Btw great work and keep doing what you are doing as you have inspired me to take up car detailing
Another good one! I will gladly take a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and add some bells and whistles! I was wondering, after delivering the car, do you make recommendations to the owner about how he/she can improve their vehicle? For example, I noticed a lot of scratches on the interior dash. I would tell them about a replacement dash cover kit that could really refresh the interior. Admittedly, for an older car that interior came out great and is holding up well. Might be an easy revenue add for you when they come back for maintenance!
My favorite car, that I'd love to have is a Cadillac XLR. Realistically, my second choice is a '15 Cadillac CTS V Coupe in black cherry. I currently drive a black '13 CTS and I love it. We also have a silver '13 SRX and it's nice and comfy. My first two cars were Nissan; a Sentra, and then a 200SX.
So nice to also have the videos where the owner obviously takes very good care of their car. Cadillac XT4 would be my choice. Guess I'm thinking more of how I would get around during a MT winter & not of a vehicle strictly for fun or speed.
This is how I clean and detail a vehicle.. if not more thoroughly. My friends think I'm crazy. But when you roll up, whether it be a car show or just somewhere public where she's noticeable, in a 16-year-old whip that looks, for all intents and purposes like it could be new, the fact that you didn't cut corners suddenly seems worth it to the doubters.
I like how informative you are throughout your videos. i would love to do all of these things to my own car but we have water restrictions in Cape Town so we cant wash our cars with clean water :( Keep up the good work bro
@@StaufferGarage Yeah that's the reason why we are in this predicament. we don't get the rain that we used to, so all the water that is caught and stored, would usually be used for other, "more important" things. Our car washes still operate, but they use borehole water, which is already contaminated. Hopefully the weather will turn around and next year will be better. we entered spring now, so its going to be a while before any heavy rains start
Excellent job. I have a 370Z and watched this to get some pointers on cleaning the vehicle thoroughly. You really cleaned up this vehicle nicely. Those scrapes on the center console were a fault of the 350Z's due to crappy material design as that area seem to fail pretty quickly, especially on daily driven Z's. The 370Z's are a little more durable in that respect but you still have to use common sense or they too will scrape pretty easily. My Z only has 12,000 miles on it since new and it is 8 years old. It still smells brand new inside like the day it rolled out of the showroom. But it's only my weekend or occasional "big boy toy" and I try to keep it super clean. I vacuum it, wipe down the interior with an interior quick detailer, and rinseless wash it after every drive and that keeps it looking brand new. I only do what I describe as a "deep clean" similar to this detail one time per year in the spring.
A tremendous amount of hard work and it sure paid off. Truly an amazing result and great looking car. Do you recall the year of the 350Z? Just curious. :-)
After driving a loaner 2017 Honda Civic for a week, I discovered to my great surprise, just how much better my 2009 Prius actually is, (IMHO) and I'm a Honda guy! But honestly, what I actually would really want, no one makes. A cheap, light duty Electric Hybrid Pickup truck/Cargo Van for my Honda motorcycles. A Prius version of a Van or Pickup would be pretty awesome.
This is my dream job, I’m figuring out ways to make it work. My biggest thing is how do you have customers that are able to leave you with the car and then come back for it?
Hi, do you have any suggestions on how to get Florida Pine tree sap off your car? I heard all kinds of crazy things to do, but I don't want to ruin my paint. Thank you!
i’ve come to realize the exterior cleaning is more satisfying than i thought!

Really nice job. An advice: I want you to give the full list of the music you included in the video. Keep up the good work...
Out of curiosity, how much do you usually charge for an interior/exterior detail like this one?
I'd love to know this answer
