Weekly test of the Olmsted County siren network. This new-ish 2001-130 is located in western Stewartville at a large park, and is about five years old (give or take). It was very hot and miserable out this morning, and humid to the point where my PowerShot lens would get covered in condensation after a few minutes of just sitting there. The EOC was late with testing this morning, but other than that, this was a relatively standard test. I will try and be back here next week for the third Wednesday test in Rochester. Thank you for watching, and enjoy!
Olmsted County tests their siren system every Wednesday at 10AM April-September, weather permitting. From October-March, they are tested on only the first Wednesday of the month for a shortened 1 minute test.

Looks like someone had trouble putting on the sticker on the back. Either that or they just didn't care if it was on straight or not.
DAMN THAT IS SO COOL. I wish to hear that irl one day 💀💀
A little shaky on the start up. Nice video!
I’m not sure what that was, but if I had to guess, it was probably the collector ring assembly not liking the humidity.
You're probably right
